102 Dalmatians Reviews

When the only good thing about your movie is Glenn Close screaming like a crazy person, the more vigor she brings, the more worthy the film is of bothering with.

Sequel better than first live-action Dalmatians movie.

| Original Score: 3/5 | Aug 24, 2010

There is no reason for this sequel to the already-pointless 1996 live action remake of the classic Disney cartoon to exist, and the filmmakers fail to come up with any convincing pretense of justification.

...boasts few attributes designed to appeal to viewers over a certain age...

The story of this film is a bit forced, trying to shoehorn the characters and plot into a similar theme.

The film is so bland and so limp, even with Disney's trademark cute animal tricks, it would take a 300-amp shock to get its heart beating.

| Original Score: 1.5/4 | Jan 1, 2001

The 1996 film apparently made enough money that Disney couldn't resist going back to the well once again, even though the water wasn't so fresh last time, and by now it's downright stagnant.
