An other movie arrangement, but worth to watch!

Ethan Hawke plays a young man who travels to Alaska for the Yukon Gold Rush and an orphaned wolf cub must fend for itself. This movie started off really well, then started to drag about halfway through. I found myself checking to see how much longer the movie was. I think it is a small combination of too much going on within the story, and the story seems to slow down as the movie progresses. There are some beautifully captured scenes of Alaska and Alaskan wildlife in this movie, if you like that then check this movie out.

Doesn't do the book justice. Sanitized and neutered version compared to the book.

I would say a classic. Done in a true Canadian style of film. Enjoying the beauty of nature and cruelty. Not for the faint of heart as it shows the kindness tenderness and compassion of mother nature. It's the fit of survival.

This nature drama was really good. Ethan Hawke, Jed, Klaus Maria Brandauer, James Remar, and the rest of the cast did a fantastic job in this movie. The plot to the movie was dramatic, adventurous, and thrilling. It's about a friendship between man and animal, which is a great story. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a must see for an entire family.

Nice film. I enjoyed 'White Fang'. A young Ethan Hawke appears as Jack in the lead role, one he does very well in. Klaus Maria Brandauer is alongside him, portraying Alex. Brandauer is the better of the two, but both play big parts in making the film a good one. The plot isn't anything tremendously memorable but it is something I felt entertained by, I never got bored at any point of the 107 minute run time. There's a couple of nice scenes, particularly one with Hawke and Jed the Wolfdog. The locations are shot pretty nicely, too. Recommended.

A wonderful movie that shows human greed and desperation may be overcome by a an appreciation of the natural world and a love of animals. Written by Jack London and his message is as relevant today as it was over a century ago.

White fang is a faithful, commonly underlooked adaptation on Disney's part with its authentic environment and blended use of the dog movie formula. 3.75

Nothing new, but it works.

It was a very enjoyable and really adventure-packed Disney live-action family adventure. It had really well done cinematography, really excellent cast, really brilliant music, really good humor, really exciting adventure, really great characters, really intense drama and a really interesting storyline. In my opinion, I think it’s going to be one of my favorite Disney live-action movies I’ve seen in a really long time. I really recommend this movie to both kids and adults.

Good, but not great.

A generally good movie! Mostly solid performances, a mostly interesting story, and some gorgeous sights make it worth a watch. But, it isn't something I would watch again. It was a little slow, kinda dragged some stuff and some acting was just okay.

bias review here, i really need to re watch the film to give an updated critique. favourite movie as a child besides milo and otis/benji. sadly as i am older i realized animals were harmed in the making of these films. i did love this movie so much though it is sad.

This was literally the most disappointing remake of my life. I loved White Fang the novel my entire childhood and adulthood. I have basically memorized it. To remake it into this mockery is obsene. They removed key parts and story details that truly brought everything together. The ending of this was very cliche and lack luster. Frankly, despite knowing this is aimed at children, they missed the shot big time! Do yourself a favor and read the book.

Timeless. I used to watch this movie over and over as a child.

Clearly a family movie. I used to love it as a kid, and I think there is great cinematography, nice atmosphere, etc. It feels a bit dated, which is natural. But I liked it.

A poor adaptation of Jack London's classic book White Fang about the friendship developed between a Yukon gold hunter and the mixed dog-wolf he rescues from the hands of a man who mistreats him. It is a good and sweet story anyways but I still look forward to a worthy film adaptation.

Objectivement, Croc-Blanc est un bon film d'aventures Disney des années 90s, avec pas mal de suspense, une suite de péripéties plutôt bien agencées, même si très épisodiques, un casting complémentaire avec Ethan Hawke en héros, Klaus Maria Brandauer en mentor et James Remar en méchant très méchant, un superbe score de Basil Poledouris qui met en valeur la photographie majestueuse de Tony Pierce-Roberts et une mise en scène sans génie mais efficace de Randal Kleiser. Cependant, il faut avoir une tolérance assez avancée pour les histoires d'amitié crétines entre un gentil garçon et un animal un peu sauvage mais sympa quand même et mignon tout plein. Sinon, Croc-Blanc peut paraître particulièrement long.
