Little Women Reviews
This is my #1 favorite movie since I was a kid. No little women remake will ever top this in my mind.
An absolute timeless classic I watch every Christmas!! The best adaptation of Little Women so far!!
A once a year watch. This movie and story is timeless amd enduring. I love ever moment of it. With it's stacked cast and set design. The cherry on top is the score which is one of my all-time favourites. It has the heart and warmth of the book.
Claire Danes makes me cry twice; her seeing the piano and her death.
Mesmo sendo meu gênero de filme favorito sobre mulheres corajosas, faltou algo a mais para me cativar nessa produção de época.
I will never not love this movie!
It does feel like it is missing a few crucial scenes but overall this a very good adaptation of the book with some excellent performances.
A faithful adaptation of the novel and the best of the various versions made.
My favourite depiction of this classic story! I have watched this throughout my childhood dozens of times! I always wanted to live in Marches cozy home with the attic and warm fire place ....
Pretty much a who's who of actresses and actors of the era. All were strong with Sarandon and Ryder being absolutely perfectly cast. It is a classic story it it is told very well...well it was an outstanding telling. This story seems like it will be told over and over and over again by many more people and it seems it will always be worth watching. There is nothing wrong with a nice wholesome movie filled with romance and tragedy and love. It was stunningly beautiful to watch. Yep, I'm a sap and even though I knew the story I still sat in tears with my puppy.
It's perfect. Best iteration of the story I have seen. The acting, the script, the costumes, and the soundtrack are all perfect. A gem from the 90s.
This adaptation has more substance and nuance than the previous ones
This is the version of the classic novel that made me fall in love with the story.
I like this version as much as the 2019 one.
A nice adaption that was surprisingly satisfying.
Excellent acting but just not a gripping as the 1933 version with Kate Hepburn. That one actually had me crying.
