Scream Reviews
It was kinda cool and nostalgic to watch an old movie on the big screen. Felt like it was my first time watching it!
Boring at times but a crazy watch. The hook was great, climax was amazing
Though more of a mystery-thriller than a horror by today's standards, it succeeds in style with its gleefully head-scratching plot - you'll truly believe Stu when he says "everyone is a suspect" - and a sense of self-aware originality that's still refreshing today.
Scream is part parody of slasher movies but a film that stands on its own and pulls it off. Great actors and under 2 hours so you dont get bored. And I have to admit that I saw this in theaters when it came out in 1996 and its truly a time capsule.
I love the running themes to other horror movies and inside nods. It's the perfect film to watch!! The storyline is fresh and the actors are excellent.
It’s a classic, and it’s still very enjoyable.
Best horror movie ever. I love these movies so much.
One of my favorite horror movies
The movie is good to watch
This movie really scared me as a kid it traumatized me . I thought ghost face was real . Someone was dressed as him in front of my house it freaked me out including that time I went to the Halloween store and on Halloween night someone wore the mask I flipped out. These types of shows and movies shouldn't be on tv and in movie theaters.
The best one out of all the screams
Such a classic movie. I absolutely love it. This movie has my favourite ghost face's in it.
Scream is a 1996 teen slasher movie that parodies the horror genre. It's self-aware, with constant references to other films.
One of the best movies ever made, a masterpiece must see if you haven’t!
Scream is a clever, self-aware slasher that reinvents the genre. With sharp writing, a suspenseful plot, and memorable characters, it’s a chilling yet fun ride that still holds up today
My first real horror film with a twist ending, the guessing who did it mixed with a great cast and unique eery score sets this as one of my favourite nostalgic movies of all time. Neve Campbell is my all time best scream queen to date.
Scream makes fun of slashers like Freddy Jason And Michael scream combines comedy with horror so well from the most iconic beginning of a horror movie to the bloody end 10/10
Basically re-invented the whole slasher genre back from the 80s..Wes Craven is the real winner here fantastic underrated director who works his magic here
Watched it again after seeing it 26 years ago and it's one of my all-time favorite horror films, no question. Perhaps only Candyman is a better horror flick of the '90s. So many films have great parts but a less-than-outstanding whole; this one is opposite and is better than the sum of its parts. Other horror movies may have had better acting, production value, music, etc., but this one had everything come together perfectly.
I can’t rate it any lower. Even if it has a couple of stupid things, I love this movie so much. It’s one of my comfort movies and I think everyone should watch it.
