Would recommend watching the show The Avengers before watching the movie. Even though it has Sean Connery, Uma Thurman, and Ralph Fiennes are in the movie which are all amazing actors. The storyline was extremely hard to follow. And very confusing. It had a good amount of action, adventure, and comedy. The storyline is fresh and original. Connery, Thurman, and Fiennes all play the characters very well. But even that isn't enough to make this film worth watching more than once. I think the television show was much better. And since Hollywood it's all about remakes & retakes these days this would definitely be one of those movies that would benefit from a remake.

This is a great campy movie. I can't believe so many reviews have stick up their asses about it. It introduces characters i know nothing about and keeps me interested. then i see more and more stars showing up. I can't not understand how reviews say the plot is butchered. I can follow it perfectly well. This just blow my mind how the review on here is so low.

I wanted to say I love this film, i wanted to say its a guilty pleasure, but sometimes when you get such a great cast of actors you get one of the most disappointed films that you will ever see.

I think the plot was a little childish, seeing the colorful bears was kinda goofy but other then that i loved the film.

The Avengers isn't exactly a terrible movie. It has interesting visuals and some fun tidbits. It seems it can't commit to a tone, and there is no sense of urgency in the pacing, which makes the barely 90-minute film feel like a slog.
