this was not terrible, but instead very strange.

The movie would've been good if it focused more on a great story than obscene themes that will make some uncomfortable.The movie is also hard to sit through.

Once again critics missed the mark. Definitely worth the watch.

Cara, eu gostei muito de assistir esse filme! Ele começa como aquele típico jovem “certinho”, com uma vida planejada e sem espaço para surpresas, mas quando Danielle entra na vida dele, tudo muda. Ele mesmo no meio de tanta confusão e pressão, se mantém firme e decidido, colocando o bem-estar dela acima de tudo.

Literally This was one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life despite all those adult scenes, plot was really amazing and creative. Although the length of movie was too much but still it's was really unpredictable and amazing. Actors were great and Casting was Amazing. This was the first movie of my life I wanted to watch again after seeing it lol.

The Girl Next Door is a surprisingly good movie a good story, good writing, likeable characters on top of a nice message on education about sex. While this movie might not be the greatest sex movie of all time like "Boogie Nights" or "Knocked Up" however it certainly is the better looking ones.

Female lead carried the movie with her looks. Bad acting overall. Especially the scene where he lost the money in the bank. Obviously in the real world the teller is fired, regardless of what.

More mature than a teen sex comedy would have you think, The Girl Next Door goes flaccid when it does feel the need to appease genre expectations.

Yeah why not. It’s a bit more edgy than most teen rom-coms. Ok, it’s implausible but at least it’s more memorable than similar efforts of this era. Watched on Amazon Prime.

A Risky Business rip-off, and not a very good one. Timothy Olyphant's performance saves this movie.

Loved the movie all the way through, the relationship between Matthew and Danielle really hits me in a good way - cant describe it. Enjoyed it and would recommend.

It made me laugh a few times, it left me confused even more times. Strange meh movie not really worth watching unless you have nothing else.

Has a few funny parts, but mostly lacking comedy and the plot is not the most interesting.

A highly underrated comedy!

The good characters are what makes this a good movie, they're likable, relatable and, in a certain way, real. The plot starts to become over complicated and unreal, and if it wasn't for the characters, it'd be seen as out of place and unrealistic.

Omg! Going into this movie I was thinking it was another early 2000 romantic movie wow how I was wrong the character Danielle played by Elisha Cuthbert was played so well I'm begging to develop a crush, this attractive girl has amazing beauty inside and out. I recommend this highly!!

a rather nice teen movie with the very young Emile Hirsch and Paul Dano. Not really delicate but rather funny
