Goal! The Dream Begins Reviews
The movie's story is rather unconventionally conveyed but overall it's entertaining
Movies like this should make you want to play soccer when you're done watching them. This one was an uninspired foreigner playing ball in England.
I lot of people give it low rating because they think the main part of the movie is football but its more than that. This movies gives hope to those undocumented players in the USA. It shows them that its possible to make it pro. Non Mexicans will do not understand this, but it really is a good movie, not just about soccer but following your dreams.
Most original American dont understand to watch this film about English Premier League, This the best option to watch if you knew about all the E.P.L teams, I watch more than couple of times never be bored because more Football scene instead telling the story.
The greatest 02 hours: and 01 minute ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE BEST SPORTS FILM EVER BEEN MADE! Period. Whoever says Goal is bad is either knows shit a bout football, or has watched too much bend it like beckham.
Excellent two-film series. Note: 'Goal III: Taking on the World' is not an accepted sequel, it simply doesn't exist - literally, in RT's case.
Not sure what the critics smoked before they reviewed this, but it is a definite must watch. Very inspirational story.
Ok mediocre movie that's an uplifting story but it didn't hook me. I've seen so many uplifting sport movies that this is a movie that I will forget to 2 days.
Interesante y predecible, un film que estructura una historia interesante pero lo suficientemente básica para lograr saber cada cosa que pasara pierde mucho peso , mas alla de eso logra ser una cinta que entretiene a pesar de lo débil que es.
An inspirational movie not just for soccer players but for all of us. Thanks for Glen Foy. Very entertaining movie.
Cant believee I was never offered the chance on this film. Im quality at footy and i was only 78 when this came out so wouldve been aba the right age. I never even got a call back. How mad is that?!
It's a football movie that is pretty predictable and if you have watched other movies like this you can kind of know what will happen next but because it is football I'll give it 3.5 out of 5.
Decent flick for a soccer fan. It's cheesy and made almost entirely of cliches. It is crowd-pleasing, and it is in depth into modern soccer like few movies do.
As a Brit now living in the US, I have many people asking me about "soccer" during the season, and this is not a terrible way to learn about football by any means. Not a great film, and so much is factually wrong, I wouldn't know where to start, but I have seen far worse. The soundtrack is quite good too, with Oasis Happy Mondays and Paul Oakenfold etc etc..
