Remember Me Reviews
This was one of the shittiest movies i have ever watched i want my 1 hour and 50 mins back. The only good actors in this entire film were the little sister and Pierce B. Plot twist was so dumb and useless. I have never been so bored watching a movie in my life.
While the twist was a bit randomly thrown in, I see this as a very good romantic drama which was well acted by Pattinson, De Ravin and Brosnan. Easy to connect with the characters and easy to get teary eyed at the ending.
This movie was okay, but it made me cry at the end, due to 9 11. When he died, I cried alot and I was worried about the little girl too. Robert Pattinson was a great actor in Harry Potter, but now I need to watch Twilight for the first time.
Some good performances can't save this feel-bad melodrama that makes inexplicable and rather offensive use of the September 11th attacks as a last-minute plot device.
This movie makes me feel. Robert Pattinson is incredible per usual. It’s funny and clever and just so emotional
Slow burner. Definately hated the first 10-15 minutes however after that the emotional intensity is ramped way up. Filled with heavyweight performances. Absolute gut punch of an ending. I appreciate when a film has the cajones to pull off an ending like that.
You know, I actually considered ditching this movie after the first 20 minutes, as the story was a bit confusing. But maybe that's just me and it wasn't as confusing to others. I'm happy I changed my mind, because this is one of the most heartbreaking movies I've ever seen. I didn't see that ending coming, I don't even think it was necessary, but it really made me tear up. Poor Caroline.
amazing movie, storyline was a tiny bit confusing at first but amazing movie really made me think of how sad 9/11 was, made me think of how this could've been someone's real life Caroline could've been a real girl. This movie is amazing and made me cry my eyes out.
Remember Me is a 2010 romance film starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. Emilie plays Ally Craig, a free spirited but misunderstood girl. She's not like the other girls, how do we know this, she eats her dessert before eating her dinner. *gasp* Pattinson plays the goth loner Tyler Hawkins. He smokes acts aloof and doesn't respect authority figures. He's the exact type of guy that parents warn their daughters to stay away from. I remember watching this film when it first came out. It is your basic romance film, with the usual stuff you come to expect from the genre. The couple have their meet-cute, they have a budding relationship and then some drama happens in the third act. What I admired this film for was its very natural dialogue. As a romance film, it lives and dies by the dialogue and the actor's chemistry. Pattinson certainly does a better job in this than in those other romance movies he became well known for. The movie would be pretty good, all be it a bit on the bland side, if not for one thing. And that is the film's ending. I guarantee you I would have completely forgot this movie existed if not for its baffling dumb ending. It is right there with "Lost" for having an ending that completely derails the rest of the movie. Poor Emilie can't seem to escape these dumb conclusions. I won't spoil it here, because honestly I can't give the reveal the full justice it deserves. It is an ending so dumb I brought others over to see it. I might be recommending you see this movie just so you can see for yourself the way this film concludes. It says something about the film the fact that I remember this ending 12 years later, having remember little else about the film. Even if you try to forget this film, you will remember it... just maybe not for the right reasons.
Plot twist was completely unnecessary.
A beautiful movie about human connection. It’s a story about family, grief and love. It’s poetic and poignant. Robert Pattinson truly shows his skill set in this movie. I have shown this movie to three different people separately, and they all have loved it.
I didn't go in to this movie with high expectations, just wanted to throw something on to pass time. But... From the beginning it kept my attention and was beautiful a bit of a twist that turns good , then heartbreaking. I recommend watching. Better than the movies being put out this day and time .
A beautiful film with a very emotional ending.
Tragic loss and heart breaking, each character has great depth. Must see.
I am very happy that the movie shows us the steps and choices that are necessary in the life of a great person. I like the movie.
The initial critical reaction to this early 2010's indie flick is very bewildering. Pattison perfectly balances the nuances of a fairly compelling and complex character.
Absolutely devastating. Just too much heartbreak for one movie. I thought it was going to be more of a pure romantic drama but it's not. It's really a movie about loss and moving through the world in grief. It has solid characters and while it's far from perfect -- can be a bit hypersensitive and borders on manipulative -- it's a tear-jerking story that you'll remember.
My jaw fell on the floor. The end was crazy and the plot was good. 10/10.
Not bad, but forgettable. I do remember this movie as the first time I saw Robert Pattinson as a serious actor, and that is noteworthy in and of itself.
SUCH a good movie. A bit on the slower side but the beginning gets you so hooked and the ending is something I never expected.
