Nothing is going right for 25-year-old Art (Robert Pattinson) -- his girlfriend (Alisa Arnah) dumped him; he got fired from his job; his career as a singer/songwriter isn't taking off; and he's forced to move back home with his mom (Rebecca Pidgeon) and dad (Michael Irving). No wonder he's depressed. But Art isn't surrendering. Using his inheritance, Art hires a self-help author, Dr. Ellington (Powell Jones), to help fix him, though it may drive everyone else crazy in the process.

In answer to the question, "How To Be?" my suggestion would be "less boring and trite". Undoubtedly, this film proves what may have been lost in all the "Twilight" glitz: Pattinson can't act his way out of a paper bag. It's astonishing how his lack of talent is distinguishable even among the troupe of hack actors surrounding him in this movie. From bad lighting, to amateurish sound, to abysmal hair and makeup, there is almost no bottom to this fail-bag of a film.

Started out hilarious but as the film developed the comedy turned more to the tragic and often annoying side as I wanted to slap Pattinson's Art for being such a pathetic character and having such cardboard cut out parents. There was enough to enjoy in this film but it is not one that I would highly recommend. Good to see Pattinson in something with his native accent, he can act - despite what is on display in Twilight.

Ever had low-grade, persistent angst? To the point you're irritable and unhappy? Pattinson delivers a comedic look into quarter-age crisis and the wanting to have purpose and meaning without knowing how to find it. Yet, predictably having the answer.
