The strange, sometimes disturbing, ultimately kinda heartwarming story...

The strangest found footage film you will ever see. A Life on the Farm also delves into the man behind it all in an effort to look into his reasoning. It is a good idea in theory, but the documentary segments do not always work as well as intended.

The film is often more interesting as a study of privileged people’s beliefs than as a portrait of Charles himself.

| Original Score: 3.5/5 | Apr 10, 2023

… a must-see documentary that is at times disturbing, but ultimately heart-warming.
