This portrait of a gradual break-up is grinding yet human. The director arouses great sympathy in us for mum, dad and the twin girls, and the actors play their parts so perfectly such that you resist siding with one against the other. You feel for both man and woman, and wring your hands at the impending, slow demise of their relationship, and the inevitable impact it will have on their delightful girls. One of the realest and least Hollywood movies I've seen in fair while.

Felt very real. The happy moments and the sadness. Even amicable break ups have these moments.

Um bom filme que, depois de A Separação e O Passado, parece um pouco redundante. Ao menos, fiquei até o final, o que não aconteceu com Juste la fin du monde. Por mais exasperante que seja a rotina deste casal, aquela família do filme do Dolan é insuportável. :)

Difficult and honest look to an end of a relationship. It is hard going but with enough ups and down to be rewarding.

Beautifully shot with two actors in perfect unison, a hard look at a relationship gone wrong who uses more humanity and realism than cheap movie tricks.
