Awake felt a little confusing in the beginning- I didn't exactly know what was going on, yet, I guess neither did those in the movie. However, after what seems like obvious cuts, and obvious plotlines that were removed, I was left out of the loop. Halfway through, I stopped trying to connect the dots, and just allowed myself to watch. I'd say right then, it got interesting.
24+ hours of no sleep is INTENSE. I don't think people understand that. So, the scenes that unfolded honestly make sense. I started to like how absolutely insane everything was- and how quick drawn the actions of people were.
By the end, I was in it, and loving every second of it. The ending was crazy- even though the last second was very cliche.

(ENGLISH) A good idea doesn’t always translate into a good movie, and Awake is a clear example of that. The premise of a world where no one can sleep and chaos takes over had a lot of potential. What could have been a paranoid and distressing thriller ends up being an occasionally entertaining story, but too flat to truly take advantage of its premise.
The biggest problem is that it never manages to convey the level of desperation it should. The sense of danger is inconsistent, and although there are a few well-executed action scenes, the suspense never fully takes off. The movie lacks tension, and there are too many scenes that don’t add much, making the story progress without the strength it needs to fully engage.
The characters don’t help much either. The cast does what it can, but the script doesn’t give them enough depth. There’s a lack of development, a lack of conflict. It’s hard to connect with them or genuinely care about what happens to them, which takes away impact from the story and makes everything feel colder than it should.
Visually, the movie delivers without standing out. At times, the camera effectively portrays the characters’ disorientation, but overall, the staging is overly conventional. The soundtrack doesn’t add much either; instead of enhancing the tension and chaos that the story demands, it fades into the background and fails to create the necessary impact.
Ultimately, Awake is a survival thriller that entertains just enough but leaves the feeling that it could have been much more. With a more polished development and a bolder commitment to the tension and chaos its premise suggests, it could have resulted in a far more immersive experience.

Really bad plot, not a great ending, the story line was hard to follow and didn’t really make sense. I would not watch this movie again and definitely would not recommend it.

It makes no sense. People start freaking out about their sleep before they even get to the 24-hour mark. Silly, and I can't lie, I did not make it anywhere close to the end. Just couldn't stomach it.
