Mat Brunet AniMat's Review (YouTube) This is a movie that’s meant to show off a cool crossover with a lot of action. It knows what it wants to be, and does exactly that. Nothing more. Rated: 6/10 Oct 25, 2024 Full Review Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast A mix of animation styles complements the cross-over between Batman's Gotham and TMNT's NY. The film adaptation has a better handle on its action/comedy combo than its comic source, although the film does feel like it has two climaxes Rated: 3/5 Feb 11, 2023 Full Review Doug Walker Channel Awesome While I can't say it takes itself seriously, it takes itself at the exact appropriate tone. I had a ball! Rated: 3/4 Jul 2, 2020 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Nonstop fierce cartoon action with humor in crossover movie. Rated: 3/5 Jun 18, 2019 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Between the action, humor and the willingness to truly embrace the spirit of this unique crossover, it's a lot of fun in spite of the oddly timed and questionable gore. Will G I have never watched a Batman film I have hated so much. Terrible storyline; it was overly cluttered with villains that never really had any character development. I guess we are expected to know all about them at this stage but concentrating on a few would have been far more effective. The story has no real flow to it, and if the best detective in the world couldn't see that half the film was just a distraction then.... Awful animation; clunky and very childish and seems to avoid violence before suddenly there's a ninja star sticking out of someone's eye and a head rolling around on the floor. Action from budget 00's cartoons; clunky basic and slow with stupid choreography. There are bits that aren't too bad... flying along in a batmobile and turtles on motorbikes.... great stuff. Mutated bad guys, love it. Suddenly there's a T-Rex out of the blue and don't talk to me about the fight scene between Leo and Raz-A-Gul, especially the end. Whoever put the money up for this film must be absolutely fuming. I think the main reason I hated this film so much was because I have watched all the other animated Batman vs.... which have been great fun, especially the latest Batman Ninja Vs. films. Maybe I was expecting too much from this film but honestly I can't get how bad this film was out of my head and I am writing this for some sort of cathartic release to allow me to move on and forget this ever happened. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/23/25 Full Review Nik F Of course, we are waiting for the sequel, what else can we add here? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/25 Full Review Kevin P An awesome crossover that’s the greatest fanfiction ever brought to life. The two worlds work so well together and the chemistry between all of these iconic characters bounce off each other so naturally. The animation and art style are eye candy, and the action scenes are so smooth. Batman vs the Shredder and the mutant Arkham Asylum are easily the highlights of the movie. It’s genuinely pretty funny too. Easily the best crossover I’ve seen in a long time! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/25 Full Review Marco B the perfect meeting point for these heroes, fun and well paced, excellent quality entertainment Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Anderson O An incredible Team-up wasn’t expecting much of. I very much underrated this movie. It’s one of the greatest animated crossovers and amoung the great ninja turtles animated movies to date at the time of its release 5 years ago. And Villians don’t disappoint either in the team up of Ra’s Al Gil and Shredder. Incredible action and animated fight match ups with Batman ninja Turtles and Villians. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Victor O As a kid, I have always enjoyed watching either Saturday Morning or Weekday Afternoon cartoons of some of my favorite characters. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman were always great shows and as I;ve gotten older I've seen them continue to grow as I did. But the idea that they could combine them was something you see in comics but never on the big screen. So this collaboration was a dream come true. Gotham City is being plagued by a series of robberies committed by a group of ninjas with the symbol of the Foot Clan. Batman, Batgirl, and Robin work to find out who they are and why they are doing these thefts when the Foot Clan's enemies, Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael respond as well. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles step into Gotham City and confront its heroes only to let them in on the truth that their foe has made a partnership with Batman's enemy, the League of Assassins in exchange for power to their Foot Clan's leader, the Shredder by building a powerful device that will destroy Gotham. This was a dream come true. Seeing the personalities of all the heroes and villains involved, the epic confrontations, and the combinations of so many events made this a great viewing, even better than I had hoped.
