After Barbara and Adam Maitland die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. The film still works and is just as charming and engaging as it was when I watched it as a kid. Michael Keaton is iconic, and Ryder, Baldwin, Davis and O’Hara all excel in their roles (the less said about Jeffrey Jones the better). Full review in Spanish.

It was a nice, fun movie. Winona Ryder was especially enjoyable, as were Geena Davis and Michael Keaton. Ah, and "Mr. Rooney" from Ferris Bueller's Day Off (sorry, don't remember his name).
