The idea behind this movie moved me a lot, but it was a movie with really satisfying expectations

Wow! What to even say?! Master. Piece. The greatest movie ever, it made me a sigma. When Big Momma was like "its big momma time" and big mommad all over the place, I was like "nice move big momma"

What am i supposed to say, no really what am i supposed to say about this movie? Big Momma's House has to be the most BORING film i had to watch, It's Martin Lawrence was trying to replicate the success that Eddie Murphy did with The Nutty Professor 4 Years prior, but did so much worse with this misguided comedy that is clearly not worth watching.

Some of the jokes are comfortable while some of the others do feel uncomfortable, but it's how most jokes were back in the 2000s. I still enjoyed it not only for sone of the humor but also the moments when the tender as well as the liar reveal was done right. Not perfect, but still enjoyed it whenever I tune this on for a little guilty pleasure. Never seen the sequels but soon those two will be tackled. 6/10.

Lawrence is a star, but he is betrayed by a script that was a 2000 nominee for Stinkers Bad Movie Awards. To be clear, the category was "Worst Screenplay for a Film Grossing More than $100 Million Using Hollywood Math" by Don Rhymer and Darryl Quarles. That's got to smart.

Such a great film back to back laughs and such an amazing story. It will forever be one of my favourite films Martin did such an amazing job and definitely deserves way more credit than he is getting. So sad to see such a great film get lots of hate but it will always be a great film to me.

Anybody saying big mommas house wasn't a good movie literally needs to sit back bc clearly they don't know what they are talking about LOLLL this is a classic 2000's kids movie we all loved growing up watching it will forever be funny

Pretty much everything about this is subpar. Jokes get a laugh 10-15% of the time but then they drag out with over the top antics. Instead of being quick hits they drag on. The Editing especially in the middle isn't good. Stuff just happens with really no smooth flow to it at all. Almost all the jokes are surface level or dumb slapstick gross out jokes. Nothing is filmed in a clever way. And it's a kind of a dumb idea to begin with. Honestly even for Lawrence he's done better stuff and this isn't one of them. Skip this.

The best comedy movie ever

There is nothing in context in this film, but it is still absolutely fantastic. The plot was good even though it is not new, Mrs. Doubfire first got the idea. At least I laughed a lot at the movie, but it's definitely because it's a lot of crap.

Realised in 2000 and directed by Raja Gosnell, Big Mamma is an humorous american movie precisely a police comedy. It is played by Martin Lawrence known in the movie for Malcolm Turner, a FBI agent, who is an as of deguisement. The film is about an inmate on the run nammed Lester who has to be found by Malcolm and his FBI partner. The agents thinks that he will try to join her ex girlfriend Sherry Pierce played by Nia Long. So the 2 agents will watch her grandma's known has Big Momma to find her. The action takes place in Georgia. The plot is totally predictable we can easily guess the end because the plot is very simple and sadly the end is so sudden. The special effects used are utterly cheap and laughable but I find that that's make the movie funny like the Big Mamma deguisement. This movie have a really poor photography, not only because it is old but we mostly get medium or medium close up shot. The acting is a little bit exaggerated I guess it is to make it hysterical. Moreover the script is mostly hilarious, it is full of humorous dialogue. Even in dangerous situations there is always that one person who would say something funny. Generally I don't find this movie impressive but it is entertaining. I recommend you this movie to anyone who loves to laugh. It is not something you must see however it is a good movie to watch in family to have good times.
