Bill & Ted Face the Music Reviews
Bill & Ted Face The Music is likeable and easygoing, a sequel without a hint of cynicism, which should appeal both to anyone venerable enough to remember the original movies and newcomers alike.

I hate emotional manipulation, but it worked, and I felt something at the end of the film as music becomes the unifying force in the face of divisions such as time, country, race and gender.

A few years ago, when this was announced, many complained that we didn’t need another Bill and Ted movie. I am happy to report that they were wrong.

A wanly amiable threequel that, predictably, generates its greatest impact from watching Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter channel 30-year-old personas...

Bill & Ted Face the Music recaptures the comedic charm of the original film while adding additional depth to the titular dynamic duo.
| Original Score: 4/5 | Sep 1, 2022
Reeves and Winter put a lot of heart into Bill & Ted. They love these characters and we can tell. Did we really ‘need’ another movie? Not really. Am I glad we got one? “Totally dude”.
| Original Score: 3.5/5 | Aug 19, 2022
Delightfully silly fun...
| Original Score: 4/5 | Aug 3, 2022
In a year that will mostly be remembered in a negative light, Bill and Ted Face the Music is everything cinephiles needed in a time of such darkness. A lighthearted, heartfelt gem that cements itself as one of the most entertaining films of 2020.
| Original Score: 3.5/4 | Feb 18, 2022
Having already experienced a disappointing sequel (Bogus Journey was poorly received at the time), this threequel strives to give fans everything they could ask for... with a sweet message that couldnt be more needed at a time like this.
| Original Score: 6/10 | Feb 17, 2022
Bill and Ted Face the Music is a film that proves its titular characters' appeal really is timeless.

Unfortunately, "Bill & Ted Face the Music" didn't capture the same whimsy and charm we've seen before.

Bring on Billie and Thea's continued journeys - Excellent, Bogus, and all points in between.
| Original Score: 4/5 | Jun 17, 2021
It's enough to see something so thoroughly good-natured, a comedy about aging and unfulfilled potential that's content and hopeful rather than disappointed.

Underneath the silliness of it all, the Bill and Ted movies have always had a positive message about uniting people through the power of music.

The very idea that some dreams don't come true - or, to the benefit of everyone, they evolve and get passed along - sits at the core of this tender and loving movie.

Cheap and silly? Yes. Loving and warm? Definitely. Bonkers adventure? It works fine.

In keeping with the quantum spirit of the film, Bill & Ted Face The Music is at one time both most excellent and most heinous. How you react to this painfully cheerful story all depends on what version of yourself you are when you press play.
| Original Score: 7/10 | Mar 1, 2021
Excellent? No. But not bogus, either.
| Original Score: 2.5/4 | Feb 22, 2021
The good news is that while Bill & Ted Face the Music isn't excellllllent!, it certainly is far from bogus.
| Original Score: 3/5 | Feb 14, 2021
It is goofy fun and somewhat uplifting. Just what I needed in this bogus year.
