You'd think a movie whose sole point is basically "Don't fall head-over-heels on the basis of good looks alone" would avoid being as swell-looking but substance-depleted as "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss."

Once you've gotten your tongue around that awkward little title you might actually enjoy "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss." I did.

"Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" isn't at all deep. But in its cheerful, fun-loving way, it reminds us that in our endlessly self-referential, image-conscious pop culture, fantasy is what makes the world go 'round.
