The writing was solid and kept you guessing. This is also the most recent film that I recall where I cared about each of the main characters and liked their dynamics with each other especially when tension was being built up. Definitely a movie worth watching.

Slick and sexy movie of 2025

The story was hard to follow at times and some of the dialogue was exposition-heavy, but damn if this movie wasn't interesting. Each of the characters had a unique and distinct personality. I particularly enjoyed the dynamic between Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender. It had many thrilling moments/revelations that more than made up for some of the uninteresting dialogue. The music by David Holmes was great too.

It started as a cat and mouse dinner, evolved into a spy story, not that action packed, more cerebral, interesting to figure out, great acting, but too confusing to really get involved in.
