Bleed for This Reviews
Bleed for This doesnโt just hit hardโit lands. This film tells the wild, almost-unbelievable true story of Vinny Pazienza, a certified boxing legend who redefined what it means to be unbreakable. The movie chronicles how Vinny Paz wasnโt just fighting opponents in the ringโhe was fighting doctors, doubt, and a severely broken neck. With a halo screwed into his skull, he managed to step back into the ring. Thatโs not just resilienceโthatโs the greatest comeback in boxing history. Miles Teller taps all the way in with his performance, bringing Pazโs voice, swagger, toughness, and vulnerability to the screen. Aaron Eckhart is unrecognizableโin the best wayโas trainer Kevin Rooney, and the chemistry between them is electric. Director Ben Younger keeps the energy tight, gritty, and real. Director Ben Younger does a brilliant job bringing Pazโs world to life, with intense fight scenes, strong character work, and a story that pulls you in from start to finish. Vinny Pazienzaโs story is compelling beyond wordsโa testament to the power of will and the refusal to give up. Bleed for This is a must-watch for boxing fans and anyone who loves a true underdog story that hits hard and stays with you.
It was a great movie about a guy that was told he would never fight again and defied the odds to finish his career the way he wanted to. Paz will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June 2025 and this movie captures his wild life in a perfect way.
One of the best true life boxing movies of all time about boxing legend Vinny Paz and his remarkable comeback after breaking his neck in a car crash. Incredibly inspirational
One of the most vivid films about boxing, the fragility, the deals the characters and great performances. Great experience.
The film is interesting with good performances, but the soundtrack is bad.
Me, i really enjoyed it. Its an insperational story and a true story at that. I like the fight scenes and the sometimes emotinal moment. For me its an easy rewatch anyday!
This was such a compelling movie with good acting. Miles Teller was excellent in the leading role. The ending had reflections of Rocky only this was based on a true story. It's definitely worth the watch.
This sports drama true story is really good, the '80s gives you the feel and the video footage in certain scenes it has that like you were in the early days of boxing and 온라인카지노추천. Acting is amazing, the way tell the story with this you for the him and what he goes through and they way mixed with family and friends you can tell that he has the strength to move on. Even though some nudity, cussing it and inappropriate moments and even with boxing scenes it does takeway or add Nothing but just gives life a boxer and relationship with his girlfriend and family especially his POPs. The best part of whole movie is that not only he believes himself, is that coach begin biggest supporter more his Dad, which like. All in all worth your time and streaming on MAX and give a A+๐๐๐๐
Miles Teller is great actor but in this movie failed to convince me that he has the charisma and ability of a lead acting role, nevertheless the storytelling of the true events was great.
Generally, it was a very generic experience for me, sprinkled with some emotionally captivating lines from the main character that were very motivational to hear. Not the best athlete biopic, nor the worst; it's right in between from what I've watched. Basically, you can watch it and literally passes the time.
A solid and inspiring movie allround but it lacks in certain departments to be more memorable.
The reason I enjoyed this movie is because it was based on a true story. I think watching anyone overcome difficulties & rise above all expectation to come out on top, shows us the power of inner strength. Miles Teller did a fantastic job. Other than that there are other boxing movies I would recommend over this. It just lacked that powerful emotional ending we expect from these type of films.
Special Effects: 1,0/Sound Effects: 0,5/Acting: 1,0/Story: 2,0
There's an inspirational true story behind the comeback of Vinny Pazienza, but it's so paint-by-numbers as a film that it feels totally sterile. There's very little to the characters beyond their Providence (not Boston, as they remind you frequently) accents, not much in the way of development or even discernible features. Things happen in the right order but there's little to the events beyond your standard dogged determination, which doesn't give you anything to keep the energy flowing during the film's long drag through physical recuperation; plainly, the film is boring when it should have been engaging and dramatic even when the main character is kept in a halo to recover from a broken neck. Big pumpup tracks in the soundtrack and training montages don't work if the character feels distant, and there's so little to latch onto with this depiction of Pazienza (which seems more the fault of the script rather than Miles Teller's performance) that the story beats mostly fall on deaf ears. Technically it's executed pretty well but the storytelling needs work, as it is Bleed for This is a pretty predictable and undistinguished boxing flick that doesn't make the most of its main character's determination. Funny that both Pazienza and his opponent in the film's final match, (the honestly much more legendary) Roberto Durรกn, both had film dramatizations released in 2016, and they were both pretty underwhelming. (2.5/5)
It's worth the watch, it's cool to see a true story of strength and determination. Teller does an excellent job in this movie! Must watch! Gave me goosebumps!
The crazy comeback story of Vinny the boxer that was close to being paralyzed in a car wreck. Determination and grit.
Great comeback story. Favorite boxing movie. Incredible comeback story. Mike teller is ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
"Bleed for This" is a pretty good boxing movie that is mostly boosted by a terrific performance from Miles Teller. A less gifted actor might have made this movie less memorable, but Teller does a very good job. In terms of the story, its a comeback story that is based on true events, but feels familiar in terms of the formula. I think the boxing sequences in the movie are solid but they could have been a bit better and stood out more. I think there are better movies centered around this intense sport but I still think this is an inspiring and well-acted movie that I was fairly invested in.
