Bloodsucking Bastards Reviews
Stupid movie that is fun as hell and Pedro Pascal being great helps the movie alot
Buffy the vampire slayer plus the office
i went into this thinking it would be similar to "Mayhem", only vampires instead of zombies. but that was wrong. this was fine, it really was, but i didn't like it. it was mostly just stupid.
Really solid movie all the way through and some of the scenes really cracked me up . There was great chemistry between the main cast members . It’s kinda like office space with the slacker vibe to it, mixed with workaholics and throw in some vampires . I’m gonna settle at a 3.9 . Solid solid indie . It was fine as is but coulda been a little better with a higher budget , but you usually lose the feel when that happens so who knows . Really did make me laugh . I love Emma Patrick now as well. The calmness during insanity was a nice tough to the atmosphere
A very enjoyable horror comedy. Every cliche imaginable used, but thats what you want from a B movie
A great movie with good chemistry between the protagonists & antagonists! Definitely worth checking out for some entertainment & laughs!
Good movie. Its plot has a lot of really unique ideas while also taking a minimalist approach to its story, the characters are all relatable, the humor is smart and hilarious for the most part, the effects are good for a low-budget genre pic and the performances are great, especially Kranz and Kern.
It's like a mediocre version of Shaun of the Dead and Evil Dead 2 mixed together. I chuckled a couple times so I guess that counts.
A new sales manager is brought in to help a struggling firm with several beta and slacker employees. The new employee was trained in a Romanian business school where he learned to use vampirism to motivate the workers. Some funny office dynamics plus clever commentary on the corporate world make this a fun watch. Definitly watch if you enjoyed Netherbeast Incorporated or Stalled.
When a bunch of lazy office employees fate changed. I watched this because it sounded like another 'Midnight Son'. But I did not find anything like that, in fact, I'm disappointed. It is a B movie and showing our displeasure is definitely not worth. Because I went for it knowing what kind of film it is, so expecting a miracle was a foolishness. Honestly, I enjoyed watching this film, but did not like. Though the effort, including the production quality and performances were laudable. I don't know many of these actors, that's how a film like this works, but they did their best. The entire film was shot inside an office. The tale takes place nearly two or maybe three days, but the narration stayed in the office and built a story out of it. It is the story of a bunch of lazy office employees who always plays games in their computer placing bets. But when their new manager arrives, he demands a good result for the company to grow. So overloaded with works, employees begin to act strangely, but couple of them comes to know the reason and decides to fight against it. I think some people would like it, but to find out you are one of those, you have to take a chance on this. The film had potential, but was not fully utilised to make it a classic like you say the one I mentioned in the very first line. Particularly the last few minutes were submerged with the usual horror-comedy stuffs, so boring. If it were clever in some parts, I would have personally recommended it. Overall a better screenplay would have saved the film, but believe me, still it is the worst film of the 2015 I have seen. 4/10
I managed to see this because I got a 7 day-free trial to a Showtime add-on on Amazon Prime. This is a problem. There are several other add-on subscriptions for Starz, there's one for horror movies, one for documentaries, one for music, etc, etc. The fact of the matter is that there's way too many streaming services that you have to pay for. I absolutely adore Netflix, I really do. It has changed the way we consume films and television. It's been so successful that streaming sites such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon now have their own original scripted series, films, documentaries, etc. But, let's be honest, just because you have enough content to create a streaming site doesn't mean you should. I think there should be three main streaming sites. Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. I can make a case for HBO Go, but that's it. Everyone else should just swallow their pride and share the revenues with those four companies. By having so many streaming sites available, you're stretching people way too thin. We don't have enough money to subscribe to all of you, so please give us a break. I just had to say that, because, fucking hell, enough is enough. Anyway, I thought this was a pretty fun little horror/comedy movie. It's obvious that, to almost everybody, the best of this genre will always either be Shaun of the Dead or Evil Dead 2. It's obvious that this film never made an effort to be as good as the classics, it's more content to offer an entertaining diversion. Though I will say that setting a vampire movie at a complete soul-sucking and soul crushing corporation was a clever choice. The two just go together well and it's really surprising that no vampire movie, at least as far as I'm aware, has ever used this as their main setting. The film, obviously, isn't perfect, but I think it's got a solid script and fun cast to help get you through some of its slower moments. Which is a weird thing to say when the film, probably, doesn't go more than 81 minutes in length. I don't wanna say parts of it dragged, but it does take a while before the story and the horror really gets going and that, to me, does hurt the film. But the interplay between the cast is strong and the film is definitely better for it. You can obviously see that they didn't have a lot of money to work with, but they didn't let it hold them back. And that's always admirable to me. Perhaps admirable isn't the right word, but I like movies that overcome their own limitations and this is one of them. It's not like it overcomes them to become something great, but it is better than it probably would have been if handled carelessly. Though, really, you can say that for every great movie in existence. The gore itself isn't great and they probably alleviate some of that by having the vampires explode when murdered, all you see is a ton of blood shoot all over the characters. So that's probably all they could afford. This isn't much of an issue, at least to me. The film, like I said, has a fun cast and good enough dialogue that you don't really need much violence for the film to be entertaining. This isn't amazing, as if you couldn't tell by the rating, but I did enjoy watching this. It's a movie you can watch while leaving your brain at the door. Those movies need to exist. It's silly and goofy, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'd recommend it if it ever hits Amazon Prime (and not on one of those bullshit add-on subscriptions) or Netflix. Solid flick right here.
Do you like horror? Do you like comedy? Do you like Fran Kranz and/or the guy that played Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones? Then this is the movie for you!
Not the best satire around, but one that despite its obvious flaws - directing wise, most notably - didn't bore.
Hilariously funny--I laughed through the whole thing--it is such a good satire on life and politics in an office.
This movie kicks ass very often. There are a lot of hit a miss gags but as a whole, it's an hilarious comedy-horror.
