Solid revenge/vigilante movie with a great cast and acting. Worth a watch.

I loved the chemistry between the 2 protagonists.

good performance from Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard, but overall the pacing of the movie is pretty slow.

one of the best movies of all times.OMG Jodie is seriously just so good, and Terrence. oh wow. gorgeous and a great actor. they had great chemistry. nothing but wonderful things to gush about in this movie!

Jodie é uma super atriz, desde #osilenciodosinocentes #acusados E neste filme Acusados ela interpreta uma mulher que foi estuprada por 3 homens. Neste filme um bando de vândalos matam seu noivo e ela é surrada. E como a policia faz corpo mole para descobrir que é o responsael pelo assassinato, ela mesma vai a busca de descobrir. E trama corre neste sentido, e ela se torna uma vigilante. O filme é legal de se assistir. #recomendo uma ótima atuação de Jodie e Terrence o detetive. Roteiro: bom Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 8

Great film. I thought it should have won some awards. Jodie Foster was incredibly good.

This is one of my favourite Jodie Foster films. I love her films, as she is an amazing actress. This film was originally made for a male lead but Jodie changed the director's mind. I think having a strong female lead, vigilante who takes control of her fear, but it is relatable for women these days to buy a gun to keep themselves safe. One of the funniest quotes is, "I'll be the last super c*** you'll ever see." Terrence Howard ( bad guy in Big Mommas House) played a brilliant portrayal of an officer who said, "I always hoped that I would have the courage and the dedication to say yes." A pivotal moment in this film, wide lense, beautifully shot with their reflection and how they weren't looking at each other the whole conversation, got me interested in filming techniques, when I was studying media production at college. I used this scene for an essay. Each shot in this film, signifies purpose or to convey emotion or messages.

An introspective vigilante movie with a strong character study whose failure at the box office in 2007 could be explained by being too intellectual for the mass and too much of a genre film for the festival circuit.

I enjoyed this one and the story it told, despite the critics poor rating. Foster & Howard do a good job of keeping you engaged

The story is intense and Foster is a treat to watch. A fantastic performance.

Satisfying the minimum character requirement

It's totally just Death Wish but with a girl. Totally savage insanity, revenge, etc. If you liked any of the Death Wish movies, you'll probably like this one as well. It's worth watching if that's your thing. Otherwise I think it will just upset you.

It has it's moments. A revenge movie that somehow manages to be 2 hours long. Average at points. Very good sound effects through out the movie. Some scenes that carry a big emotional tone that does engage well with the audience. The one weak point is that crime conveniently keeps just popping up around her, over and over again. Worth a watch if you a fan of revenge movies.

Nicely paced western, period piece set in mid nineteenth century Ireland. Actors all make the revenge plot easy to digest, and genuine empathy for the anti hero was felt from the first act through the credits.

I liked this one Jodie Foster gave one good performance. It was almost similar to Charles Bronson " Death Wish " of taking revenge on their own hands, of course this time was a female leading role, the film was good it caught my attention and it delivered a good movie. So for this being a good solid film and seeing a good solid plot and seeing how the movie developed with its leading actress in Jodie Foster, I give ' The Brave One " B-.
