A strange movie that will make you not want to date, it's about a woman who wants to be a victim so badly that she keeps putting herself in situations where bad things can happen & seemingly wants bad things to happen to her so she can blame someone, the ending was extremely frustrating to watch.

Extremely visceral movie. Just the perfect amount of comic relief followed by extremely tense Unpredictable moments. I feel like the writer and director truly captured the awkwardness and potential pitfalls that can occur in new relationships that go awry. Hopefully, no one experiences anything as Intense as this.

I found the social commentry on modern dating to be the most interesting aspect of the film. After somehow drudging through the story, the film missteps and falters in the third act. I was really looking forward to this film after seeing the trailer. Sadly, it’s rather disappointing and underwhelming. It’s a skip.

I’m not sure why the ratings are so low on this movie! My husband and I really enjoyed it. It had thriller vibes with some comedy mixed in.

This movie strangely enough held some of my attention. But the title is a misnomer. As a cat lover I figured there would be cats. There was 1 cat at the end. Otherwise there was bad behavior on the part of all the parties involved. Do not recommend.

This film really annoyed me, it had the potential to be a really good commentary on womens dating experiences and people pleasing, but I can't lie the protagonist put herself in these uncomfortable situations with Robert, I think they made her look on par with how awful he was as characters.

I enjoyed this film. Had a killer soundtrack, the acting was good and it was entertaining. Nothing life changing but I would recommend it for a bit of fun.

"Cat Person" takes the horrors of modern dating and turns them into a psychological thriller. I will say that I felt this movie had an original voice and feel. The story has many unpleasant and awkward moments, but it is also what it is trying to do. I feel like the last act of the movie is kind of bonkers and it started to lose me because ridiculous stuff just started happening that didn't really add up. Overall, I think it is an okay movie that has some solid thrills and effective cringe moments, but it really just lost me in the final section.

I really liked this film. It brought me in because at first glance it appears to be this romantic type of drama, but as it unfolds it becomes more of a mystery and closer to the genre of horror. While it starts somewhat slow with the story of boy meets girl, it has to do that to build up the suspense by the end. What I found particularly fascinating with this film was that it seemed to put this idea out there of whether or not the main character was being stalked by this guy and whether or not he was a threat. It wasn't a straight forward or cut and dry tale of stalking/danger. Even the subplot with friends seemed to take a twist by the end. I'm not sure there is a clear answer as to what happens at the end, but I think it leaves a lot to be open for discussion and that is perhaps the most important part.

The cinematography was great, but the ending annoyed the hell out of me, what happened to robert, how is he doing! I should've done my homework man :( / i think i should just re-watch it, not on a school night

The reviewers got it wrong - this film is a gem. A true original disguised as a standard killer flick. Such wonderful subtlety and ambiguity. It stays with you. Highly, highly recommended.

The movie had absolutely no point. I almost turned it off with 38 minutes left, thought something has to happen, nope. It wasn't a bad movie, it just went nowhere, all the "suspense" was in the girls head, it was all Ober the place with no ending to wrap it up. Well, unless they somehow get the money to make another, and she starts killing older guys, that's the only way the ending makes sense. *spoiler alert* I was sure at the end, she'd be a murder. And when I was watching the end, maybe dead bodies would be in the little hole they climbed into. Nope. No one's a murderer, dude is just socially awkward af and she's BPD... That's really the whole movie, and you don't even get to see her boobs.

I found it to be a very tedious movie. I'm actually surprised that I made it to the end. The fun never starts in this snooze fest.

Dull and joyless. If young people view relationships through this lens no wonder they’re depressed and miserable. Spare yourself the misery of this flick.

You hate both main characters for different reasons but the experience feels very real and too common. I was rooting against both of them at different times but also hopeful?? Better than I expected.

Gotta have some brain to understand the point of the movie. Most people didn't get it.
