A forgotten little gem. This guy needs to be in more movies!

Funny and charming movie! I wish I had seen it sooner. This movie definitely should have gained more publicity!

Secrets, we all have them. At the end it all comes out. This movie got me homesick as I grew up a 15 minute ride on my bicycle up Shore Road in Westchester County from City Island. I used to hang out there all the time in high school and college. It is a fishing village in the middle of the Bronx, it is awesome place. Who has Italian blood in this movie? The mother is Jewish, Garcia and the daughter Cuban; who? Anyway it is mostly Italian-American, Irish American or German American City Island or some wacky mix like me.

One of the best movies I have seen in years and I was actually not looking forward to it. Has it all, good character development, great acting, clever and touching story, belly laughs to tears of joy. Well done!

I think never the song "Dollhouse" fitted so well to a movie till I see this one here! Everyone has secrets and lies, and they can't even notice that how much more they try hide them to protect themselves, more they make it worse. A really good comedy with a lot to think and reflect at the end of it. Even with Ezra character doesn't have much prominence (he is the main reason I wanted to watch) it was really worth it.

It was a pretty interesting film... that whole family was definitely "different" to say the least.

Wonderful plot develops with the viewer having the inside story. A comedy in the traditional sense, yet also in the modern sense. Margolis showed her diversity after years of ER. The entire cast was excellent. It also shows why communication is so important in a family.

Ezra Miller recovers quite a bit for this piece.
