Clue Reviews
One of my favourite films. The story is ridiculous, the script is brilliant in both its writing and delivery and the cast is perfect.
This is my favorite movie of all time by far. If you’re a fan of Agatha Christie’s novels, look no further. Closely resembling And Then There Were None, Clue was able to create three compelling endings as to who actually was the murderer. This movie is full of suspense, comedy, and murder. It’s definitely worth a watch.
Fun, silly but goes awry towards the very end with multiple endings. Watched on Netflix.
My favorite comedy of all time.
An absolute cult classic filled with great one liners delivered by an outstanding cast. A must watch!
A perfect movie is all I got to say, watched it million times! From beginning to end... a masterpiece!
This is not one of those cliche comedies. It's one of the best films of the 1980s. And has one of the best ensemble casts of all time. Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Colleen Camp, Martin Mull, etc. some people might find the film to be all over the place and confusing. Storyline is a little complex for a comedy. the script is imaginative and unique. And there are no stale one-liners. It has all the key components of the game. From the rooms to the suspects. There is even a backstory about Mr Boddy. And what's really cool is it has 3 possible endings. This movie is is fun to watch as it is to play the game.
One of my favorite movies of all time! Great film holds up after over 40 tears and I still notice new stuff after every viewing.
I wish there were more of these movies
CLUE has been one of our family's favorites for years. It's one of those irresistibly zany comedy-mysteries that, even though I have a copy of the film, I'm happy to watch it if I stumble across it on 온라인카지노추천 (don't touch that dial! :-)). Despite a few groaners among the gags (how many times did they need to sniff for doggie-doo in the beginning?), there are enough witty lines ("Communism was just a red herring!" and "Flames...on the side of my face...", among others, are frequently quoted in our home) delivered sparklingly by the top-notch cast amid enough madcap scampering about to make CLUE very watchable on a lazy afternoon, or even a not-so-lazy one, for that matter. Tim Curry (who deserves to be in more good movies) steals the show, particularly when he reenacts the entire movie in about 15 minutes during the climax, accompanied by John Morris's rollicking music. The film was released with three different endings, each of which has been shown on cable--the one that recalls MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS is my favorite. Give CLUE a shot...in your living room...with the DVD player!
Fun show… but could use the help more ethically diverse. Would love a remake some day!
Still one the best movies of all time!
I loved the movie Clue! So funny!!
One of my most favorite movies!
One of my fondest childhood movie memories is seeing Clue. Especially when we found out after the fact that there were three different endings depending on when you saw it. I loved watching it with my kids years later, especially getting to see the two endings I had not seen in 1985. My youngest loves it even more than I do and watches it regularly. I hope Fandango Classics re-releases it this for its 40th anniversary in 2025!
Easily one of the greatest of its genre!
A very entertaining who dunnit. My advice is to not try too hard and figure out what's happening and just enjoy the ride. Rife with witty humor and great performances. Upon rewatch though it certainly lost some appeal for me.
Unendingly self-conscious, excellently paced, and sporting a fantastic performance from Tim Curry, Clue stands as one of the most notable 1980's screwball comedies.
One of the funniest comedies I've ever seen
