Jerod S Crypto is an interesting background for the robin hood kind of story...but for something so volitile, Cold Wallet doesn't have much bite. Some allegorical themes on capitalism coming from the rich tech guy. I really didn’t like him… a testament to a job well done. I especially liked the music… silent night was a nice touch. There were well placed funny moments of levity to keep my heart rate down. Was giving me some serious wtf’s… in a good way! I’m going to watch again to catch any little foreshadows or fun correlations that might come from knowing the ending. Checked all of the boxes of a “crypto-heist thriller” I guess Steven Soderbergh knows good movies. Ha! My favourite easter egg in the film was the presence of POG AKA Proof Of Game, the game you collect that was a phenomenon for decades!!! The brand has a core role in the digital application used in the film for the airdrop!!! So creative overall, forces you to "REALLY" pay attention to every little detail. Keep your eyes peeled!!! <3 Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Audience Member Talk about a cold wallet Cryptocurrency is all the rage these days; it’s a now preferred way to making money ReEddit forums and podcasts allow users to purchase anything from houses to electronics etc. Unfortunately for 3 select individuals (one of them played by Melonie Diaz) they face the biggest punch in the face; they end up facing $67,000 in debt around Christmas They find out about one man kingpin who has swindled them out of all their earnings so they ban together to track him down and make him pay But little do they know they are about to walk into a trap making them question each other The film acts like a giant power struggle Is crypto capitalism? One Robin Hood icon should act on others’ behalf or not? None of the characters seem likable save for the father who’s trying to set his child for life I was expecting it to be more out there and super violent I guess it could be taken as a modern issue for the digital age of monetization and currency Even the small investor is no match for the crooked capitalists rigging the system itself Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review Audience Member Great movie.
