Melissa M One of Jim Carrey's lesser-known movies. There's a lot more talking in the movie than there is comedy. The scenes with Alan Thicke (Jackson Reach) & Jim Carrey (Bobby Todd) are among the best. Ski resort movies where big thing back in the '80s. There must have been a dozen of them made. This is probably one of the better ones. The scene where Bobby is skiing clumsily down the hill is probably one of the funniest parts of the movie. It was watchable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/13/25 Full Review Joshua T Everything you could imagine from 1983. Under rated and will be a classic. Jim Carrey working the earliest versions of his character impressions had me cracking up. Alan Thicke. The 80s. Snow Skis. Enough said. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review james s This movie watches like the music of the 70's listens. SO dated. It was 1983 so it gets the stars based on an effort, for the times. It has 3 FULL LENGTH songs performed in the middle aka Smoky and the bandit style, all of the actors are looking around like they don't have a clue and the script, dialog and delivery are just horrible. I now know this movie was written to highlight Carrey at a time when he had shaky acting skills. Its worth watching for the flash back but don't expect a diamond in the rough.....copper at best! (see what I did there?) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Andre G I bought this moving cause it has Jim Carey in it. So I thought it would be a decent movie at least. This has to be the worse film next Rubberface I've ever seen with Jim Carey. Dumb movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Audience Member terrible layout. no straight story. it's all over the place. good music and good start for Jim Carey though!
