Blu B The editing and pacing is terrible. Once the stakeout happens...it feels like stuff just happens. Norman wanting to be a cop, playing with the kids, the actual takeout, Norman going over to the bad guys house being an idiot. None of it adds up to anything and is just so stupid and filler. Literally you could jus skip the next hour and get right to the end and not much changes. The cinematography isn't good. It's so basic, so boring to look at, and so uninspired. It's a boring 90's subrub household and nothing else. The music is boring and forgettable. The acting is just alright. Palance & Chase just don't really have any chemistry and everyone else is super forgettable. Biggest sin here is this isn't funny at all and the humor is just terrible in general. Maybe if it were funny it would get higher marks but it fails at being funny and a functioning crime plot. Skip this. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Audience Member This movie is no Oscar worthy performance but if you want a decent buddy cop movie that could pass as a family movie with the typical screwball Chevy Chase humor it’s worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Tee K This is prime Chevy ain't the guy" What a waste waste of Diane Wiests talents Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review Audience Member What the **** were they thinking?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Not good for much else but nostalgia. A Frankensteined plot of other plots from the past 5 years with stars that even in 1994 were fading in relevance Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Had some cringe worthy moments and the actors didn’t have great chemistry. I’d be lying though if I said I didn’t enjoy aspects of it. Just misses a recommendation from me Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/21/20 Full Review Read all reviews
