It was a fun to laugh it with my partner and easy to watch.. just another fantasy cash grab, there were a couple moments where it felt like they were creating an interesting protagonist and ultimately the character design fell flat.

Damsel is a decent film. It is about an affluent pioneer who ventures across the American frontier to marry the love of his life. Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. David and Nell Zellner did alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the humor and drama.

What a quirky unconventional movie! Not for people looking for mainstream. It's great. Robert Pattinson is a riot as the lead as Mia W. is equally great as the Damsel. I loved it. Based on the audience review it's apparently not for everyone, but if you're looking for atypical and singular then this is a very enjoyable romp.

This movie caught me by surprise. It definitely has a Coen Brothers feel to it. The visuals are great and it takes a huge turn in the plot halfway through. It will turn off a lot of people that like simple stories that don't make you think. People that like to see something new should enjoy this quirky western.
