French actions mixed with x-game death defining hopping all around are pretty fun, need some Kung Fu & plot master coaching to achieve the next level. Don't take it seriously, nothing make sense.

Not as original as the original (District B13 from 2004), this sequel offers a lot of the same action scenes, fights, and parkour as the original. But the story is a bit less interesting.

It may not as good as the first film but the second district 13 movie offers a lot of cheesy action and fun. The movie boosts a lot of incredible stunts but the plot is a bit ridiculous and the dialogue is cheesy for the most part. Come for the action and stunts not the plot.

Perhaps not as good as the original but the action is fantastic and inventive and the story a lot of fun.

Not as a good as the first film... but from an action standpoint... it was definitely on point.

In English it is called "District 13" I thoroughly enjoyed this fast moving French thriller. Lots of Kung fu and martial arts action. Has high production values, so a good quality film. Film 4 have it and you may catch a re run. Reminiscent of the matrix but without the added dimension. Does have a deeper message than most of these sorts of movies as you would expect from the French.

Alors déjà c'est Banlieue 13 Ultimatum,en plus le film n'est pas aussi bon que le premier,qui était pas très impérial,mais on s'y attendait.Un scénario audacieux mais toujours pareil,lent et les acteurs sont peut-être meilleurs pour des cascades que pour leur jeu d'acteur.Ce n'est pas vraiment prenant,même si les scènes d'actions sont déjà vu de la production de Banlieue 13.C'est navrant surtout quand la production a décidé d'y mettre un peu de promotion avec la présence de rappeurs.

The film itself doesn't deserve 4 stars but the fight scenes make up for a lot.

Though it has its few silly moments but it maintains an acceptable level of entertainment an action film can deliver.

The sequel is not as good as the 1st since it lost a little luster but great parkour action once again which adds to the excitement and fun. Far fetched story but that is the premise so with that understood a very cool flick nonetheless.

Damn it should be better. I'm such a huge fan that I was so disappointed on what they have done here. There's so much more in this film as David Belle's bad ass stunts is still alive and kicking

sick action, SICK!!!

District 13: Ultimatum has a different feel from the first, and for me, it was sort of hit and miss. I feel odd reviewing this film as I'm about to because on its own, its a solid actioner with a good, even if not awfully original story. This film is more deeper on story than the last film and the political situation regarding crime and government control with corruption on all ends. I guess my nitpick with it is that when you come off from watching the first film, which was not heavy on plot, but still engaging and an exciting rush of action, and then jump to this one, Ultimatum feels incredibly slow and you can't help but feel the larger production values and more advanced plot kind of hold it back. It's always a fighting balance between more action or more story sometimes, and in this case, I wanted the same excitement as the first. That being said, the humour is still here and action still kicks ass in many ways, but a lot of it also feels more routine here, therefore lacking a lot of the kick the first film had. I still enjoyed the sequel and it was nice to see a different turn in the story, but consider the jarring tonal change between the films, I'll probably find myself viewing the first film more than this one in the future. That said, I'll still recommend it for a decent good time.
