Imposible dejar de pensar en la asombrosa transformacin, tanto fsica como emocional, a la que se someti Penlope Cruz para encarnar a su Italia (...)

Someday filmmakers will recognize that blackened teeth and bad makeup make beautiful actresses neither ugly nor brave.

| Original Score: 2/10 | Aug 4, 2005

Don't Move is saved from outright awfulness by the performances of its two leads.

| Original Score: 2/5 | Jun 5, 2005

You don't like Don't Move, you admire it for daring to be a bit more complex, for caring about characters who are hard to care about and for plowing forward through all manner of ugly business.

Though beautifully shot and acted, Don't Move still holds limited appeal.

| Original Score: 2/4 | Jun 3, 2005

Romantic melodrama of the worst kind.

The performances are exquisite.

Cruz...can't rescue the film as a whole from its combination of soapoperatic melodrama and pretentious musings on life and love.

| Original Score: C | May 22, 2005

Emocionalmente complexo, beneficia-se das belssimas atuaes da dupla principal, falhando apenas na escolha equivocada dos temas musicais e ao exagerar no melodrama.

It has grand flourishes, bold strokes and a soundtrack that swells with emotional Italian and American rock, but it doesn't go over the edge of sentimentality. It's too hard-edged and its acting is too restrained and fine for that.

The gritty performances outweigh the film's outrageous dramatics.

Two desperate, unlikable people hungry for any thread of compassion - it oozes melodrama and tries to be steamy, but is mostly pathetic.

| Original Score: 2.5/5 | May 19, 2005

Erotic yet lyrical, graphic yet subtle, edgy yet uplifting, disturbing yet reassuring.

| Original Score: A- | May 19, 2005

One of those tedious movies that thinks the midlife crisis of a dull guy is more interesting than it really is.

Full Review | Original Score: 1/4 | May 19, 2005

Manipulative in the extreme.
