Audience Member Kenneth Anger's short blue tinted film showing a French Aristocrat type wandering around a Garden of Fountains with lots of flowing and bubbling water...the images are quite hypnotic. It is an interesting experimental film with a lot of beautiful images in it's short running time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Wonderful artistic contribution. Whenever Anger is criticized for his lack of ability to satisfy narrow-minded critics and viewers, they can be shown this tasteful glass of champagne. Why? Because even if they do not like champagne, they perfectly know it's a classy and reknowned drink. Anger wins. 99/100 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Gorgeous interplay of water and light, with a brief, surprising flash to offset the blue tint. But with the unknown woman running through a garden of fountains, it's more than a little pretentious. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member That's some beautiful shit right there. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review eric b A Marie Antoinette-type character walks around an incredible outdoor array of fountains located in Tivoli, Italy. The film image: tinted blue. The soundtrack: Vivaldi. Spurting water everywhere, and lots of grimacing gargoyles. At a mere 12 minutes, the film doesn't wear out its welcome. Lovely. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Although the water photography is very nice, overall I found this one pretty dull and pointless.
