Frank J Has a sense of realism that other horror movies lack Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/25/25 Full Review Josh G This feels and most likely is the highest quality direct to VHS killer robot movie and it's awesome. A ambient sound track with a decent cast. And the most cool evil laser tag robot who has military training and will do anything to win. Reload your kitchen knifes and prepare to get the popular girl by playing video games it's a complete 90's blast. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Audience Member The worst cyberpunk movie ever made. It says volumes that the robot gets the best lines of this alternatingly cringeworthy and disruptively-riotous screenplay. A lot of a**-pulls in the plot, especially when trying to explain why a toy robot has a flamethrower and lasers built in. The cast actually has two relatively famous actors: John De Lancie (Q from TNG) and William H Macy (Fargo). Worth watching, worth mocking aloud with friends. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly, but with Ethan Embry and a robot. And Ethan saves the day (maybe) and gets the girl. So basically the perfect movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Great 1995 sci-fi horror movie! Evolver is like a mini terminator! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member So bad it's good (well, almost). Light, fun thriller with a full on 80's vibe, despite being made in 1995, Evolver is a throwback to the prior decade's killer robot/videogame movies like Chopping Mall and the video game sequence in Nightmares.
