This movie got so many bad reviews, buts it's honestly so good! I loved that fact that it wasn't only shooting and so much storyline in it. It was good, creepy and interesting at the same time. Scary and good. I loved it! Just hoped there'd be a second part.

Definitely not the worst movie I have seen. If you're looking for a movie where the characters have to fight humanoid monsters it's worth the watch. It also has a decent ending.

Extinction is a good movie with a lot of good scenes. It reminds me of The Walking Dead and other movies that come after they had the original ideas. Plus there's an intriguing story behind it not just kill kill kill.

Good acting and dynamic

Fast zombies. Dramatic. Some of the characters behave in a way that doesn't make sense, e.g., when there is imminent danger of zombies, then why leave the door fully opened when it could be closed or partially closed. it's fine. It has unusual looking undead. It has long stretches of quiet moments. The set, lighting, etc., create the atmosphere.

Extinction starts rather generically. It starts as if it's another zombie flick but it doesn't take long for the movie to show its slower, character driven story. The acting and chemistry between the characters is undoubtedly the best part of this movie. They feel like real people and it's very well acted overall, especially for a child actress for that matter. However, the story is not the best. There are some plot points that are just forgotten about - for instance one of the characters is bitten by a new type of creature and everyone assumes it will turn him. He starts experiencing schizophrenia esque symptoms but at one point they just stop and he's fine for the rest of the movie. Some of the shots look cheap and artificial and the snow is so obviously fake it makes me wonder why the movie didn't just take place during summer. Extinction, although flawed, is still a very enjoyable character driven story with a little bit of action mixed in.

Good movie! Dont expect a typical zombie movie! Its a post-apocalyptic movie.

I love zombie movies and this one was pretty good except for the ending. I like happy endings and this one was bittersweet. Also, I didn't understand the very last scene. I won't delve into the specifics but you'll understand when you see it. Now this might be a stretch but you could almost call this the 3rd installment in a trilogy, that being The Descent, because the zombies are just like those in The Descent - frosty white skin, skinny, naked, blazingly fast moving, and blind. There were a few stupid moves by some of the characters that I had to knock a half a star off the rating. The little girl in the movie was great, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in the future.

Better than what most led on. Sure, it's more of a drama than a horror movie, but still solid nonetheless. The actors do their roles well, much better acting than most zombie movies.

Suspenseful, good horror

One of the worst films I have ever watched. Only made it all the way as I was working on laptop too and had a morbid interest in how bad it could be. REALLY BAD.

Good movie with some cool intense sequences here and there. CGI was a bit off but I liked the look of the zombies. both Matthew Fox and Jeffrey Donovan did a really good job and the plot was a fun and interesting story.

Not your typical zombie movie. The zombies are more of a backdrop where we explore two guys trying to survive the end of the world. One of them has a young daughter to look after. And one of them committed an atrocity against the other; Can that ever be forgiven so the two men can join forces against the darkness? Good drama, good soul searching, and good action when it finally comes. 4/5 If you're looking for something more from your zombie movie...

I gave this movie a high rating because of the incredible suspense and hair- raising moments, and excellent acting. This film does not deserve such low ratings. I've seen bad movies and thus isn't one of them. Matthew Fox is great and the little girl that plays Lu is incredible. Watch this movie!

Once again, I find myself disagreeing with the majority of reviews. Is this a mind-shatteringly original concept? No. Is it the best horror movie ever? No. But is is well made, well acted, and pretty entertaining? Yes.
