This film has a Disney Channel movie feel to it, with an over the top comedic villain, played by Danny Pudi. Matilda Lawler plays the lead role well. There were a few characters that didn鈥檛 translate well from the novel that could have been left out of the film. The editing seemed off as well as a few spoken lines late in the film seemed out of order. The climatic scene was a little over the top for me as well. This movie was one of my "random" Disney+ movies, so that's how I watched this movie before I read the book. Flora and Ullysis was a very interesting movie, and that means the book was very interesting to. I am reviewing only Disney+ movies today, and this is my third movie reviewing today. It unfortunately falls off on its final third where the lazy decision to force in an antagonist turns the story of self-discovery and family into any generic talking animal movie.
