Fracture Reviews
An enjoyable court room drama.
I enjoyed this movie. It takes you to the ending swiftly and keeps you thinking. Well chosen cast and the acting are on point. I highly recommend this one !
Just watched this movie again 18 years later, and it was as good as the first time. Performances are outstanding and plot is extremely interesting with identifiable emotions.
Where can I start... As a beautifully shot, well directed, well paced and beautifully acted piece of art? It's beautiful. As a story? It depends on what you value. From a psychological thriller - it's incredible, it made me think, it made me pause, it made me write down notes so I could keep track of the story. And that was the issue... the story, whilst great in concept, it isn't the most complex, or novel or even very good. It's compelling sure - but the twist ending is easily spotted and ryan gosling's motive story line was a bit cliche in parts and his character was bordeline cringe to watch in some of these parts. Overall it's a very enjoyable movie to watch, and rewatch. It will make you think and you'll definitely enjoy it. 8.5/10
Good moments but no stand out of interesting scenes except the intro.
When the big twist is obvious af, this is a really boring movie. Hopkin's acting and Gosling's hair are both wonderful.
Anthony Hopkins is absolutely great here!
Brilliantly acted by a spectacular cast, though the plot wasn't quite as stimulating as it could have been.
Loved every minute of this twisty tale featuring outstanding performances by Gosling, Hopkins, Pike and Strathairn.
Outstanding and brutal story of a husband who plans and executes the perfect murder of his wife. An "open and shut case" since the husband signs a confession. But the plot thickens as the sociopathic Ted Crawford, played by Anthony Hopkins, turns the tides on the courts and a junior Assistant DA, Willie Beacham, played by Ryan Gosling. Grab some popcorn 🍿 and sit back and enjoy.
A brilliant twisty and tense storyline. Hopkins undertakes the role of Ted very fittingly.
With an unexpected ending and a quite interesting script...definitely worth it!
An extremely stylish and well plotted courtroom drama, with top notch actors! A must see!
The story is gripping and has great twists. On top of that, Gosling and Hopkins deliver top-notch performances. I very much enjoyed this thriller.
The ONLY positive aspects was the LOCATIONS 👍 Everything else was let down by the flimsy storyline; twas a shame because of the cast 🥱😴🥱😴
A classic but very well-made thriller which offers us a nice face to face between the master Anthony Hopkins and the very young Ryan Gosling. Serious, pleasant, a film that deserves to be seen
This movie was utterly, torturously and vigorously boring
Although movie does a good job playing with it's elements along with stellar performance from both leads, on legal point of view movie was unrealistic.
Was pretty good but there are better films.
