Friends: The Reunion Reviews
They had a chance to do a continuation of the story to show us where the characters ended up, but instead they did this glorified talk show/clip show. As if the actors haven’t done plenty of talk show appearances over the years. “But they’re all there at the same time” who cares? At least get somebody good to host, but they got James Corden of all people. What a wasted opportunity.
Even with all the criticism and problems, watching this is very emotional, if you do a Friends marathon and then watch this, you will feel emotional, I unfortunately took too long to see this thinking it would be bad, but after the tragedy Matthew Perry's death, I had to watch it and even though the feeling that it could have been better remains in the air, I still say that "Friends: The Reunion" is very good and worth watching.
Best reunion show I've seen
Very emotional , specially if you are a Friends fan.
The movie is wonderful. Especially the performance of Jennifer is commendable especially her views (https://thenewstoday24.com/jennifer-aniston-says-that-she-feels-useless-in-the-middle-of-russian-invasion-of-ukraine/) are really commendable.
Me; The biggest Friends-nerd and fan out there, currently holding 13 rewatches of the original series Friends (1994). I genuinely loved every single second of this 2 hour Reunion special. All of the small scenes fit perfectly with the original series; reading script in character, watching bloopers, returning to the set, as well as the many interviews of our beloved cast of Friends. When I think about the reunion, I will always remember James Michael Tyler (RIP) on the big screen, being interviewed for roughly one minute. The way the producers cut most of the scenes, to keep it all under the 2 hour mark, is mindblowingly stupid! Fans all over the world have been begging for a reunion over a decade, and when they eventually make one, they cut the special short... Disrespectful to the cast of Friends, to the many fans across the globe, as many of us would gladly watch 6 hours of our favourite Friends talk and have fun, but most importantly incredibly scary to think about what else they may have cut, to let random celebrities have their 10 minutes of fame... Other than that; thanks to the cast of Friends (1994) for 25 good years with a ton of memories! Milestone!
it was brilliant, I've watched it over 20 times already, it was so nice seeing them altogether, they've grown so much, seeing Matthew Perry become emotional, was like the icing on the cake, as his character admitted he hadnt cried since he was a child
Awkward for the most of the time The Reunion still manages to bring you that warm and cozy feeling of meeting the old friends and more importantly the old times, when everything was better, we were younger and the life seemed to be all ahead of us.
Very heartwarming and very well made with many appreciated cameos and callbacks. It's quite funny and since it's mostly a celebration of the show instead of any kind of sequel you can't really ask for more.
Interesting especially when it was showing you scenes you'd never seen before but it was pretty sad to see how all the Friends looked different and hadn't seen each other for 15 years
Wonderful Job! Interesting, loving and filled with beautiful memories. Such a good show, we need more shows that bring us together as Americans and remind us that there are good people in the world.
It was amazing, so many memories, so nostalgic, i love it.
