Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties Reviews
Love this second film to the series! will definitely watch over and over!
Is good and definitely to watch with family, tho it doesn't have much of a plot but if you wanna watch it just for the laughs, this is the perfect movie. And it may be not worth 4.5 stars but in my personal experience I had good memories with it.
The mentioned sequel that I said it's worse than the original.....*sigh*. I could list all the reasons wrong with this movie just from the PLOT, I would feel insulted watching this even as a kid(which I was). Bill Murray even exclaimed that this was his worst movie. I would give it zero stars but Rotten Tomatoes doesn't do that anymore, so reader/critics that are reading this, avoid this movie at all costs for the sake of your sanity.
A classic of my childhood. Really good.
Look, I am not gonna hate on Garfield. If you are an adult with a functioning brain, don't bother, but that isn't the target audience. If you are a small child, you will probably like the fart jokes, idiotic physical humor, and brightly colored cats. The movie knows what it wants to do and does it. Better than a generic direct to video romcom any day.
Same as the 1st
yo ho oh mr stinky dogg
What a stupid and ridiculous movie why were they trying to mix the lives to these cat lookalikes, the plot is boring and I literally was confused at how each owners were not noticing them acting differently and the villlain in this is lame and obnoxcious his charachters motivations make no sense and he constantly trips on himself and acts like a elementary schooler throwing tantrum what does he even have against the cat does he hate cats? Because the movies themselves feel like getting cat scratched just like cat in the hat 2003 and cats 2019. Expect maybe a little. Better but that’s just because of the ending and the climax which was unintentinally hilarious. And when Garfield talks in a queery tone to that guard dog that alone made it from being as bad as cats but still no good
Worse than the first!
Good for Garfield fans bad for everyone else
Garfield 2 has to be the most embarrassing sequel ever made. The story feels like a rehash of the prince & the pauper (and also ripping off story and character elements from "The Aristocats" & "Babe"), the writing is lousy, the jokes fall flat and the characters are extremely obnoxious (I have nothing against the actors but it sounds like their not even trying with their performances), and when the film doesn't tire you with cheap humor or pop culture references it tries to include this really pointless mirror gag. Everything about this is so uncomfortable, but not almost as uncomfortable during a scene where Garfield dances with a cooked turkey.
Tim Hill's sequel to the live action take of Garfield felt rather soulless entry that is almost as bad as its first with a rather paper-thin and boring plot that felt rather predictable and shallow characters that didn't seem to shine much.
La historia no es buena no entendí nada
Yar, agree with the stereotype UK 💩🙄 but still a good cast; and that's as far as I view & rate it ⚠️🤐
AMAZING! The best movie ever . CHUNKY MUNCKEYS 4LIFE! I've watched it 26 times and still love it
Can't say enough about how much I loved Garfield a tale of two kitties. Amazing acting and depth. I wonder how they trained the cat to talk.
This fails to capture the charm of its predecessor. Despite a short runtime, it lacks the humor and entertainment needed for a successful sequel.
To a very boring and unoriginal plot, to joked that don't even make since, this movie is quite lacking. But at least it's garfield, so it can still be watchable. In fact, it's so bad, it's good to watch.
This film would've been 5 stars but there was a severe lack of intimate moments between Garfield and Odie, and also the lack of Bill Murray's massive penis. But thid film is great nonetheless Yours truly, The real Garfield 2
This is a SLIGHT step above the first and that's not saying much at all. If anything its a insult. The acting isn't good because of the same problems from the first. The jokes fall flat or are terrible, Jon/Liz are so generic its ridiculous, and Murphy is not Garfield for the same reasons as the first. The music is boring and generic. The editing isn't that good because when the two cats lives are mixed up stuff just happens that isn't interesting or funny. The cinematography is bad because of DUMB scenes, terrible usage of a really nice castle setting, subpar CGI on Garfield and the talking animal mouths, and a stupid plot. This all leads to really bad pacing as this feels like a slog to get through. Even though the plot of this is kind of more interesting than the first it still is just as dumb and more so it fails at doing anything that a sequel is supposed to do and doesn't fix any of the problems the first had despite being slightly less of a boring train wreck. No one should watch this.
