Even though the movie is seriously messed up, it is still a fresh story with good elements.

Plympton's visual inventiveness may have faded a little, but this teen movie on acid is still one of the most insane things out there.

Not okay. Not okay. I remember liking this guy's stuff when I was 13 years old. Apparently I grew up and he didn't. This movie is an animated wet dream/nightmare of any freshman in high school, and apparently was written by one as well. To think that this is the work of a grown man is staggering. The cast is full of great people, but the movie is more than a misfire. Perhaps I'll give Mr. Plympton one more shot before I write him off completely...
