Master criminal Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) is trying to control the rogue actions of one of his men, while also planning one last big heist before retiring. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Hanna (Al Pacino) attempts to track down McCauley as he deals with the chaos in his own life, including the infidelity of his wife (Diane Venora) and the mental health of his stepdaughter (Natalie Portman). Overrated. There are some decent bits but the story is slow and dull. Most of the film is conversations between couples about failing relationships. They could have cut it waaaay down and got a better cut of the actual story rather then all the other convoluted plots.

Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacaninha, as cenas são bacanas, o elenco é bacana, e alguns ajudam a melhorar o filme, a história é bacaninha, os personagens sao mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter menos tempo de duração e menos drama, mas as cenas de ação foram boas e melhoraram o filme, com tudo isso, eu meio que recomendo esse filme, por causa das cenas de ação.

Watched this for the first time ever on my birthday on Wednesday.. damn what was I thinking before then?! Total gem and it was WELL worth the time. I love Mann's works before and now I do even more so. Hard to pick a favorite between Manhunter, Last of the Mohicans, and this.. he had 3 utter bangers and masterclasses in a row, dude was jamming hard. I love Braveheart but this was the Best Picture of 1995 by a mile.
