Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Bing T Remarkable film, deeply moving story of a young Brazilian man’s attempt to make a new life for himself in the U.S. It is also an increasingly moving and uniquely thought-provoking love story that is far removed from the clichéd accounts we’re so used to from Hollywood. Pigossi, well known in Brazil and increasingly now in Europe and the U.S., is outstandingly attractive but more importantly is outstandingly talented. He has quite a mesmerizing connection to the other characters and to us, the audience. The cinematography is breathtaking and for this reviewer, who hasn’t been back to P Town for decades, it is immediately and strongly nostalgic. The Cast are excellent without exception and seem as though they were born for the roles. As you can no doubt tell I was bowled over by this movie and can’t wait to see what Calvani turns his attention to next. Don’t miss it! The characters are loved/Provincetown is loved… there is much care and softness to the entire experience. Such a pleasure to watch it on the big screen and in a packed theatre.
