Seoul descends into chaos as a devil-worshipping criminal network emerges. In a desperate plea for salvation, the police turn to 'Holy Night'--a secretive trio of demon hunters armed with supernatural powers. Don Lee (Ma Dong-Seok) leads as Ba Woo, a powerhouse with immense physical strength. He's joined by Sharon (Seohyun), who can detect and exorcise demons, and Kim-kun (David Lee), their loyal support. Holy Night: Demon Hunters is a punchier has some fun sequences, but the film is a bummer overall. Ma Dong-seok typically chooses great projects to be a part of, and it’s unfortunate that Holy Night: Demon Hunters feels so rushed and incomplete.

The story itself is hardly groundbreaking, but the leading trio have a fun rapport that I wouldn’t mind watching again. It’s only real knock preventing its popcorn fare’s advancement from “familiar” to “exciting” is that it inherently feels incomplete.
