I think is one of the best produced films about Greek mythology, aside from 300. Awesome cast, fascinating story line as well its characters. There’s just so much to it. Definitely a must watch.

Immortals is like stepping into a Greek mythology fever dream where everyone looks like they just walked out of a tanning booth, but hey, it works for the aesthetic. Where Immortals stumbles is in its story, which feels more like a vehicle for the visuals than an engaging narrative. The characters are serviceable, but most lack depth, leaving you wanting more from the emotional stakes. That said, if you're here for striking visuals, intense action, and a unique twist on Greek mythology, it's still a fun ride. Think of it as a movie you watch for the spectacle--not for the substance. Worth watching if you're in the mood for a stylized, no-strings-attached mythological adventure.

I thought this movie was a lot of fun, quite violent and cruel at times, but it was closer to the real stories, and times.

Not a strong plot, but certainly plenty of violence. Held my interest more than I thought, likely the Greek mythology. The fantasy aspect was interesting.

Fails to follow any inkling of written mythology, chosing an alternative take towards a dark cinematography; so dark, the sun never shines and leaves you hurting where the sun don't shine. Did they forget to cast Apollo or pay their electricity bill? Slow and gloomy with no pace. More of a nightmare than a fascinating myth. Take away Frieda Pinto and it's down to one star.

The cgi was so bad. Acting poor and script awful. It was boring and long and made little sense.

Visually striking with some of the most insanely cool slo-mo fights I've seen. The set/costume designs are vibrant. Yet it can't come together to make it all work. Executing the screenplay is dull & uninspired with bad acting.

I genuinely really love the visual style of "Immortals." Unfortunately, I can't say much else to praise the movie. I felt the story felt flat and the characters weren't as interesting as the mythology promises. The movie has some decent action and fights but since I wasn't invested in the story, I just didn't really get into it. I can see why the movie was marketed by the producers of "300," as it does have a slick visual effect-heavy style that is similar to that movie. Overall, the movie falls flat for me and despite some true visual flair, it is just a boring movie with no real excitement for me.

Great movie. Action is sick. Story is a little thin but Tarsem makes up for it with incredible visuals. Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, and John Hurt are all strong as actors. Plus, Mickey Rourke is gangster in this. Worth a watch if you just want to be entertained.

This movie is worthwhile fun as well thoughtful provocation around matters greater than 'good guy' vs. bad guy. Mackey Rourke brings dimension to his villainous character, something he wanted to do in Ironman 2 but was disallowed. Some inconsistencies stand out, such as the use a relatively contemporary vernacular by some characters and an affected stage-like English accent by others. The main distraction for me is The story having the hero Theseus dropping his magic weapon twice within minutes on the screen. Both fumbles occur just he begins ferocious battle scenes. It's absurd! Stephen Dorf is great in his supporting role; he seems to be having a lot of fun and that's Infectious for the viewer. I enjoyed this movie, though I think it assumes too much knowledge of the Greek gods on the part of the viewer. But it's plays the story with a straight face and that drew me in. Enjoy.

I'm not that fond of the 300-esgue graphics but it was a good story and Henry Cavill was great as Theseus.

An unbearable story and lucklaster visuals, disappoingly far from what Tarsem Singh is capable of.

Never watching this again. Graphics sucked, story sucked, hero sucked, villain sucked.

This movie carried me through my deployment. I would have it playing in the background as I worked. Had to give it a whole star just cause I did not know HC was in the movie until I got older. Wouldn't of minded a sequel though. Luke Evans was a marvelous Zeus.

A surprisingly well done movie with decent acting, nice visuals, and some great special affects.

Really? I mean really... What were they thinking? The most epic potential ever! It could have been such an epic movie. But they could not stop themselves from making bad decisions. First 3 quarters were mind numbingly slow. Than the last quarter made NO SENSE! Obviously I cannot say what I want to say without giving anything away. Just dumb!
