great musical for the holidays

Believable storyline with an amazing soundtrack!

I enjoyed it. And yet was a little disturbed it was a musical for some reason. Generally I like musicals. So not sure why this bothered me.

very good musical!!! I like the musical about Jesus. I think the plot needed more but overall was pretty good.

That movie was BIG MEGA CHURCH SCHLOCK. A musical w pop songs a la MammaMia- like Marys gettin married, and Antonio Banderes singing ITS STINKING GOOD TO BE KING as Herod. Total eye roller.

It’s really good - not totally biblically accurate but the songs lowkey hit and honestly make the movie!! Like I don’t like musicals but I was vibing to the whole movie with these songs!! Really enjoyed the story !!

There was nothing we did not like. It was a unique experience and we would welcome more wholesome movies. It was refreshing and the music was uplifting. Antonio Banderas provided comedic relief and, of course, Mary and Joseph were portrayed as realistic as weve ever seen. I could go on.

It was an Amazing movie! I liked the actors rolls.

started out as a farse, a fairytale, silly to a fault. bad portrayal of characters. then improved and became a love story. which grew into a fantastic visual portrayal about the birth of Jesus Christ. and then continued on to the escape into Egypt and ended up with Mary actually telling Jesus the story of his birth. I left VERY IMPRESSED & INSPIRED BY WHAT I HAD SEEN!

the movie had some good bits. but if you go in not already knowing the story from the Bible you would be confused. the movie just kind of loosely tacks the plot together. It was okay, I've see worse buy not a movie I'd be clamoring to go see again. See it if you already know the story maybe skip it if you dont.

excellent projection, the movie with songs made it different without changing the story, I recommend it 100%

Although there were some moments in the film that were especially moving, such as the birth of Christ, I felt that some of the attempts at humor came at very inappropriate times, times that should have been honored as sacred moments. The writer also acknowledged that certain elements were not Scriptural for artistic license. I wish that it would have aligned better with the Scriptures. I think some important moments were missed. I also didnt appreciate the Western viewpoint imposed at the beginning of the movie. It should have been more culturally accurate.

Such a sweet love story, great music, funny characters and quality work. I will gladly enjoy this movie again and again and will for sure be listening to the soundtrack!

Excellent movie with fabulous music! I love the Christmas story and this movie told the story in a unique way. Fig, the donkey, was cute, too!

Cute but had some funny parts.

The story was told in such a realistic way that made you feel like you were there watching it unfold. The music was very good.

Best movie I have seen all year!! Please bring it back for more showings!
