Jumper Reviews
Jumper is an underrated sci-fi gem that deserves way more credit than it gets. From the very first scene, it hooks you with the ultimate fantasy: teleportation. Imagine being able to go anywhere in the world instantly—this movie brings that dream to life with thrilling visuals and non-stop action. Hayden Christensen is great as David Rice, a relatable antihero who learns to bend the rules of space and time to his will. The cinematography is stunning, with fast-paced "jumps" that take you from snowy mountaintops to the heart of Rome in seconds. And let’s not forget Samuel L. Jackson, who brings serious intensity as the mysterious villain determined to stop jumpers for good. What makes Jumper stand out isn’t just the cool powers—it’s the feeling of freedom, rebellion, and living outside the system. It’s fun, smart, and filled with potential for an expanded universe. If you're into action, sci-fi, or just want a movie that feels like pure escape, Jumper is a must-watch.
Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é fraca, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.
I would say about this movie that is absolutely masterpiece. Everybody wants to be Jumper in real life. This movie gives goosebumps to everyone. Teleportation is almost real thing which I would like to have in this movie....
Jumper had some promise. Ultimately it suffers, in my mind, a similar crappy storyline as Glass, a secret society that hunts down individuals with special abilities who this society deems “monsters” or “freaks” or any version of the word different. Griffin in this movie is a total creeper by the way, it’s like “Dude just approach the guy your watching and tell him who you are.” Darth Vader has the ability to “jump” (akak teleport) all over the world, which gains the attention of the secret society’s leader, Nick Fury. They interact a few times, with Darth Vader occasionally teleporting random people halfway across the planet as “punishment” for interfering with his life, it’s a real d*ck move. Also, when Vader leaves Millie behind, how does he not think “Oh, they’ll probably go after her,” I mean come on…. The movie is alright, but not terribly entertaining. I just don’t know how a normal person survives a bus being dropped on them, Nick Fury be damned. The jumping around the world at the end was cool. I didn’t expect Bella from Twilight to show up.
Hayden Christian Jumper!
Jumper is overall entertaining despite its plot flaws. It is a good movie for some people and doesn't deserve the hate but the idea of making it a franchise may not be great decision.
This movie was so well edited, had such an interesting premise, and such great acting. What is everybody actually hating for?
This movie is clearly a product of its age. While nothing is spectacular, there is nothing disappointing with the movie. It is a fun popcorn movie. I would like to know the characters more but I feel as though I understand there choices. The movie is based off of the books and there are a few times where a little more explaining would be nice.
Quisieron hacer tanto que al final te deja más preguntas que respuestas, me gustó demasiado el concepto pero sin duda no supieron cómo darle un buen final y te deja muy mal sabor de boca.
This movie is awesome, must watch. Can’t believe there was never a sequel.
I enjoyed it; where (when) is the sequel?
I used to really like this movie when I was a kid but upon rewatching it recently, I didn't feel like it was as good
Solid. Fun. I loved this movie.
I don’t think there’s another movie like this, being the only one of its kind it should get more attention. The story is entertaining and good acting.
Please make another this movie was great and had me thinking
A movie of my childhood. We sh we could have seen more
The cast are good and the effects are pretty great but what was supposed to start a new franchise the script is a plain for an action thriller and limp direction from the usually Talented Doug Liman (Swingers, Cry_Wolf)
I love the concept definitely
Underrated movies, don't understand the hate. Critic reviews laughable but this is RT...
