The Jungle Book 2 Reviews
Hated it. As an enormous fan of the 1967 version, this one was just a disappointment. I had no idea it even existed for ages. The songs were bad and the voice acting was horrible. The story was just alright, but nothing impressive.
This movie is so boring. The songs are semi decent for little children as my wee boy loves it. He can tell me every word in the jungle rhythm song. In the movie everyone forgives eachother too quickly. Like during that jungle rhythm song the girl and mowgli are best pals when a couplr seconds ago she said he was a bad influence. They seem to show old characters for the sake of look there they are Also it seems like mowgli and the girl have some romance but in the movie description shes his step sister. Its not even like its subtle. They litro refer to it in the first couple mins. The mum n dad play a tiny part in a movie about how mowgli misses the jungle and they are tryna convince him to stay
Mediocre dire at to video Disney sepal Is a Middle seqal
It's a very good movie but the live action of the movie and the first movie are best and the new characters are a very bad characters
Jeg holdt ut i underkant av 10 minutter, allerede da var hjulene ramlet av og motoren kokte. Film for de aller minste barna.
In this sequel to the 1967 film, Mowgli returns to the jungle but Shere Khan has also returned looking for revenge. The animation here is well done and really shows the improvement that DisneyToon Studios has done over the years. Good enough for this movie to get a theatrical release. The voice acting is also well done with the stand out being Tony Jay as Shere Khan (though he did voice the character in the television series Talespin) and Haley Joel Osment as Mowgli has a way better singing voice than Bruce Reitherman in the original film. John Goodman does well as Baloo, but he is no Phil Harris and Baloo feels like a different character, or someone trying to act like Baloo. The new music is forgettable and they rely way too much on rehashing “The Bare Necessities”. The plot is fairly simple and predictable, plus it really doesn’t go anywhere as the characters end up at the same point they started in. If you enjoyed the first movie you may also enjoy this sequel.
The one good thing this movie gave us was the Kaa encounter with Shanti... I've said too much. VALAR MORGULIS!
This movie is nothing like the original. The Smash Mouth version of “I wanna be like you” is awful.
It's an interesting concept but it's exacted poorly
Heart warming sequel.. enjoyed this one on vacation with my kids. Know its a family feel good movie.. and you will get your kick out of it.
I don't care what people say, this is such a great childhood film! I watched this before the original movie when I was a kid. Honest to God, great animation and great voice acting.
I personally haven't watched it but since it has the worst reviews of any Disney animated movie I just thought it would be noice to give it a good review:)
The sequel we didn't need or want.
The original jungle book is great but the sequel is really bad and they made ballo annoying and we're is king Louie
The most magical 01 hour: and 12 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring the voices of John Goodman as Baloo the Bear, and Haley Joel Osment as Mowgli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Phil Collins as a vulture named Lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched this when I was a toddler and I rewatched it recently… I LOVE IT!!!! IT IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD! Shere Kahn returns along with Baloo, Kaa, King Louie, Bagheera and of course, Mowgli!!!
This is an interesting train wreck.
Wow, that was disappointing. Still watchable but tried too hard to bring back moments from the first. They of course replaced or had to replace the voiceovers which lack conviction and chemistry, there's a bit of a lack of action and intensity and well, easy to forget.
