Synopsis
This documentary focuses on Milt Hinton, a renowned jazz bassist who also happened to be an excellent photographer. Performing and recording with countless artists, including Cab Calloway and Dizzy Gillespie, Hinton photographed his peers extensively over the course of decades, resulting in thousands of pictures of various jazz greats in the studio, on stage and on the road. The film looks at Hinton's life, music and art, touching on the history of jazz in the process.
