Awesome cast and a pretty cool story. Fun action flick to turn the brain off to.

These ppl are stupid. Rotten Tomatos must pick the worst critics who really don't much about film or life. I think im done with this site, a movie only good if it's about transvestites or something

The cast does a great job, but the movie they're in is pretty bland. Still, it's worth a look for fans of action thrillers.

I thought it was a different kind of action film. I enjoyed it. It was 1 stud group against another. The plot was good and you can't beat all the 1a actors is the movie. IHighly recommend.

Non si capisce bene cosa possa esserci di vero e cosa no in questo film di azione dal cast importante. Si parla di complotti e di situazioni politiche che sembra possano essere accaduti realmente ma si fa vedere tutto dalla prospettiva di un sicario totalmente inventato, il cui punto di vista poco credibile rovina parzialmente le ambizioni del film. Le sequenze di azione sono piuttosto varie e sicuramente la trama è abbastanza densa di eventi per il genere, sicuramente sarebbe stata più adatta ad un thriller che ne mettesse in luce gli aspetti più interessanti.

No believable story line I'd give it a miss

Minha opinião: Um filme onde você tem 3 lendas Jason, Clive e De Niro. E ainda ver as lutas de Jason e Clive foi top de mais. Jason e De Niro são executadores ou mercenários. Onde são contratados eles executam. Mas De Niro é feito refém para forçar Jason a executar 3 agentes que mataram os filhos de um shake. Para que ele morra em paz. E assim é construído a estória. Clive faz parte de uma agência e esta investigando as mortes. Mas surge neste meio mais uma agência que faz uma armação por traz para eleminar todos eles. Ai eles se juntam Jason, Clive e De Niro para resolver tudo. Filme é bem feito. Os atores atuam bem. E para quem sempre quis ver estes 3 astros juntos, uma grande oportunidade. Roteiro: razoável. Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 7,5

It isn't a fine movie, but I liked it. A mix of love, friendship, espionage and a pinch of suspence

A mixed down to earth serious and gritty military thriller about revenge and conspiracy. Good cast and action scenes, although the pacing could have been better and the shift from the assassinations in the first half to the more traditional thriller aspects in the second could have been smoother. The plot and setting is pretty generic overall and some of the lead character's personality traits didn't suit Statham's no-nonsense persona, but the 80's style looked authentic and I was entertained throughout.

Me parece que Killer Elite tiene todos los ingredientes para ser una cinta de acción asombrosa pero su desarrollo es el que le pone el pie. A pesar de basarse en hechos reales, la película no deja muy en claro que cosas son verídicas, pareciendo que el usar esa singularidad está mas para sorprender que para proponer. desde la presentación te puedes dar cuenta que la película es muy precipitada, no se detiene en plantearte tanto el conflicto central como el de los personajes; que se nota mayormente en los personajes de Anne, Agent y hasta en el de Robert de Niro, todo sucede tan rápido que se vuelve simplista, no hay profundidad en la historia, está muy marcado el como los personajes van del punto a al punto b, debido a que todos los personajes no tienen un conflicto interno propio, volviendo a la película monótona. Combinada con escenas convenientes que aunque no son lo suficientemente notorias para sacarte de la película si hacen ruido, como la escena del Hospital o la del Metro en el final, son escenas más preocupadas en buscar la acción y el desarrollo que en darle coherencia al mundo en si. La película es dinámica para bien y para mal, ya que desde el principio abren con una escena de acción que alerta al espectador y que roba la atención, aunque el ritmo de la película no para de ese desenfreno, y se vuelve repetitiva, al volver a la acción "normal" le quitan impacto y la vuelve intrascendente. Lo que me gustó de la película está en como a pesar de ser una película repleta de asesinos y de escenas impactantes no se justifica la violencia, se ven desde un punto más patético, no habiendo planos o secuencias que glorifiquen a los personajes buscando más cortes rapidos que desde el concepto del director están muy bien llevados, los personajes son así por naturaleza, pero no por ello la película se encarga de hacer una trama de Buenos vs Malos, todos son grises, llegando a mofarse la misma película de eso mismo. A pesar de estar lejos de ser una película perfecta, Killer Elite tiene la suficiente carisma para hacer pasar al espectador un rato agradable, va directo al grano y junto a Jason Statham la película se vuelve entretenida, no intenta ser más de lo que es. Una película ideal para ver con familia o para dejar de fondo. Una película de acción que busca más la explosividad que una trama consistente.

It could have been so much better.

Killer Elite is based on a true story about a top British mercenary team led by Jason Statham who were dispatched and brought back together because of his mentor played by Robert DeNiro who was kept captive by the country of Oman disgraced sheik. The sheik's three son's were hunted and killed during the war and Jason is brought back into action to bring justice to the three sons that were killed in order to free his mentor along with six million dollars. His murder for hire team is assembled with Dominic Purcell and Adam Young. Along the way his team is caught in a dangerous path by the SAS led by Clive Owen and Ben Mendelsohn. Other than the killings of the British Air Force soldiers the plot became confusing and hard to follow. The story takes us from Australia where we find the beautiful Yvonne Strahovski who played Jadon's love interest. We then find the team travel to England, Middle East and to Paris, France. It was a good action packed tough guy fighting sequences that was fun to watch. To this day the British government has yet to reveal the truth and the actions of those soldiers.

Thoroughly average as an action film, failing to take advantage of its period setting or its exceptionally capable cast. Even the title is generic, indicative of most of the content found within. Mercenary groups, international vendettas, vigilante bureaucrat former spec ops senior citizens, there could have been a great B-movie if the pieces had been in a different order. Regrettably, it seems it was not to be. (2.5/5)
