When he's informed that his twin brother has died in Beirut, basketball coach Craig Brandt (Michael Paré) flies to Lebanon to investigate for himself. His brother was a U.S. Marine who, according to the military, died in an explosion during an anti-terrorist operation. At the U.S. Embassy, Craig meets with Charles Wolf (Lorenzo Lamas), who backs up the official story. Nevertheless, Craig has the uncanny feeling that his brother is still alive -- and that he's the only one who can save him.

Audience Member Man travels to Beirut to track down his missing twin brother. Did he die in an ambush? Is it a cover-up? Will he make it back to Dayton to coach high school basketball? All answers are delivered in this Menahem Golan production after his split from longtime partner Globus. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I was hoping for more "Red Scorpion" or "Rambo III" or some Van Damage with this story about Michael Paré traveling to Beirut to rescue his kidnapped twin brother. Unfortunately, this film tried to take itself seriously and just came off as annoying when it really should have just acknowledged that it was a low budget B-picture and embraced the enjoyable cheesy film it could have been. When your film stars Michael Paré and Lorenzo Lamas, I'm expecting "Snakeeater," not a low budget attempt at "Raid on Entebbe." On a side note, I recognized the love interest in the film, but couldn't quite place her. It was Jennifer Runyon who is probably best known for "Ghostbusters" as the cute college co-ed who Dr. Peter Venkman flirts with during his psychic experiments and also appearing as a regular on "Charles in Charge." Basketball coach from Ohio travels to war-torn Beirut to seek his twin brother pronounced dead by the Embassy but actually held by terrorists.
