Phillip Maciak The New Republic The Studio is a perfectly engaging, even a frequently entertaining, television show that makes the viewer neither think too much nor laugh too hard. May 8, 2025 Full Review Inkoo Kang The New Yorker Like most Rogen projects, “The Studio” is proudly potty-mouthed but ultimately toothless. One gets the feeling that the actor-producer is too ensconced in the system to truly go for broke. May 5, 2025 Full Review Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) Surprisingly entertaining. May 1, 2025 Full Review Steve Murray ArtsATL While the show's of-the-moment references let movie buffs feel let in on the show's in-joke, they make The Studio as perishable as a fresh banana. Its references will all be passé in two months. May 2, 2025 Full Review Margot Harrison Seven Days (VT) Some episodes of "The Studio" are stronger than others. So far, most of the characters could use more development. But the hectic style...fits the harried hero. And when the show's satire is on, it's on. Rated: 4/5 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Neely Swanson Beverly Hills Courier I found The Studio to be too clever by half and way too insider to play in Des Moines. Rogan is engaging as a lead, putting on his producer’s hat to tell that side of the story, but, in the end, the series is short on identifiable or likable characters. David F I watch ALOT of television… far too much, most would say. However, I do believe that this makes me uniquely qualified to say that The Studio is the best new show on 온라인카지노추천 this year. The long, uncut scenes are mind-blowingly cool. The offbeat, superweird humor makes me actually laugh out loud almost every episode. I love the characters, the references, and most of all… I love the psychotic drug episode at the end of the season! Seriously, I love this show and hope they keep it going forever and ever. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/25 Full Review A L It's enough for you to watch a single episode to know exactly what this show will be about. Seth Rogen plays a spineless people pleaser who constantly contradicts himself, and where every other sentence that comes out of his mouth is a lie. He makes nothing but bad decisions and tries to navigate through his bad decisions by lying and making more bad decisions. Sounds fun, right? Yeah no I agree, it really doesn't. And it proves to be one of the most unfunny and frustrating shows released in at least the latest decade. This might be a show made exclusively for film studio staff to be able to point and laugh at the relatable incompetent and despicable studio head they've had the displeasure of working under in real life, but for everyone else it's just an unbelievably frustrating and boring experience. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Sydney W The most hilarious new show out, Seth Rogen and his fellow cast members are comedy gold! 10/10! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/25 Full Review Lester W I surprisingly enjoyed this. Fun watch. They didn’t take themselves too seriously and were refreshingly sel deprecating. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/12/25 Full Review Sepas S I have somehow come to love this almost one take looking show. This review is more focused on the episode where there is a debate on doctors vs studio executives. The whole part of the fart movie being a way of arguing a satire of disinformation in the medical world. The episode takes an arrogant turn towards Matt when debating what is more important. The need and the want argument was hilarious the first time around, the second time around i'm thinking, this all started when someone named Sarah was brought up and how the doc couldn't really help her or whatever. Matt wanting to pitch in and completely messing it up was that initial pivot point. The thing I couldn't get out of my head was, these are American doctors, working in the USA that literally are dealing with life and death situations, yet still have a very similar method of profit seeking in the industry off the very same customers or patients, film enthusiasts... whatever word you want to use as the person putting the money in their pocket.. That part made me realize how arrogant the doctors were in that episode. Outside of that part, I have loved each episode and didn't expect it to be so good. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/12/25 Full Review cookie e I thought it was good I feel some people take it too seriously I had some good laughs watching uncs gonna hate Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/25 Full Review Read all reviews
