Synopsis
CARL LAEMMLE, the founder of Universal Studios, had a list and a secret.... He spent the final years of his life getting Jews out of Nazi Germany and saving them from the Holocaust. This is the story of his cousin who embarks on a journey with her husband and eleven-year-old daughter to locate the families of the survivors impacted by her cousin. A trip to Germany for an Exhibit honoring Carl Laemmle begins a search for what was lost and what remains of Jewish Life in Southern Germany. I am Carl's cousin, and this is my story.
